Pamper Yourself Challenge
What to do: For the next week, pamper yourself for 4 out of 7 days this week.
This is one challenge that you're definitely going to enjoy – the challenge being that of self-pampering.
One big mistake that far too many people make is neglecting to take care of themselves and treat themselves with they deserve it. If you've been following along with the challenges so far and have already taken steps to make some forward progress that you were hoping for, then it's time for a reward.
Making changes that revolve around your diet and workout program can get to be trying and after time, it can wear you down.
This is why often the best reward is that of pampering yourself to something special. Use this time to relax, rejuvenate, and refresh yourself so that you come back to your workout feeling stronger than ever.
Let's look at a few quick ideas that you can use to help pamper yourself.
Take A Hot Bubble Bath
The first thing that you can do to pamper yourself is to take a hot, luxurious bubble bath. Bubble baths are a perfect way to relax the muscles, clear the mind, and come out feeling better than ever.
Set aside one hour of non-interrupted time to do this one evening before bed. You'll find that afterwards you fall into a nice deep sleep.
Go For A Deep Tissue Massage
The second way to pamper yourself is to go for a deep tissue massage. Massage is a perfect way to help increase the blood circulation to the muscle cells and help to improve the recovery that you see between workout sessions.
What's more is that deep tissue massage can help to reduce inflammation in the body as well, which can reduce your risk of pain and irritation from workouts.
Book a massage at least once a month to get over any workout muscle soreness that you're experiencing.
Get A Make-Over
The next way to pamper yourself is to go for a make-over. A make-over is a great way to boost your self-confidence quickly and completely the new body that you're building. Check in at your local make-up store as most of these will offer free make-overs if you purchase a small amount of their product.
Get A Scalp Massage And Hair Cut
As an alternative to a full body massage, consider a scalp massage instead. A scalp massage is one of the most relaxing varieties that you can have and will quickly de-stress both your mind and body.
Get a new haircut along with it to add to your new look and you'll feel great about yourself.
Go On A Yoga Retreat
Finally, the last way that you can quickly de-stress yourself and feel better as you go about your day is to go on a yoga retreat. A yoga retreat is the utmost of relaxation experiences because you'll be able to rest while performing activity that is meant to re-energize your body, mind, and spirit.
So keep these quick tips in mind. Start pampering yourself a little more – at least once per week as you go about this fitness and lifestyle transformation.
