  1. Olive Oil Cooking Spray (0.333333333333333 second spray)
  2. Lean Steaks - Sirloin Tip Round Steaks (4.0 oz)
  3. Leeks - Raw (1.0 cup)
  4. Celery - Raw (1.0 cup chopped)
  5. Carrots - Raw (1.0 cup of chopped)
  6. Turnips - Raw (1.0 cup of cubed)
  7. Chicken Stock Cubes (Dry, Dehydrated) (1.0 cube)
  8. Mushrooms - Raw (1.0 cup of pieces or slices)
  9. Parsley (1.0 cup)
  10. Thyme (1.0 tsp)
  11. Salt (1.0 dash)
  12. Black Pepper (1.0 dash)
  13. Potatoes (Raw) (500g)
  14. Onion (0.5 cup)

Instructions

Here's a healthy dish for everyone who wants to indulge but still weight friendly.

  • Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit.
  • Heat a large casserole dish coated with cooking spray over high heat. Add the meat at a time until brown.
  • Add the leeks, celery, carrots and turnip and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Place the stock, mushrooms, parsley and thyme then season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil and cover then transfer to the oven and cook for 1 hour.
  • Boil potatoes for 10 minutes then slice when cool. Remove from the oven and arrange the potatoes and onion over the top in overlapping layers.
  • Bring back to the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the potatoes are browned and crisp.
