  7. Dried Prune (1.0 prune)
  8. Lemon Juice (1.0 lemon yields)
  9. Honey (1.0 packet)
  10. Salt (1.0 dash)
  11. Black Pepper (1.0 dash)
  12. Cinnamon (1.0 tsp)
  13. Beef Broth or Bouillon (Canned) (1.0 cup)

Instructions

Here's a warm meal and easy to do recipe that you and your family could enjoy during cold days.

  • Add garlic, sweet potatoes, carrots, onion, prunes, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of honey in a 5 to 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Season with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and broth then stir well.
  • Cook for 7-8 hours on low setting for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of honey and stir for 2 minutes. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
