Ingredients Needed

  1. Buttermilk Biscuits (2.0 biscuits)
  2. Grated Sweetened Coconut (2.0 tbsp)
  3. Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk (2.0 tbsp)
  4. Cocoa Powder Mix (1.0 serving (3 heaping tsp or 1 envelope))
  5. Sugar (1.0 tsp)
  6. Butter (1.0 pat)
  7. Chocolate (Unsweetened) (1.0 cup grated)
  8. Nuts (0.5 cup chopped)

Instructions

Prepare the following ingredients for this recipe. Cocoa powder or bittersweet chocolate, Marie biscuits or digestive biscuits (any biscuits that you would like to use for your own version of this recipe), about 1 tablespoon of butter to grease the tray or ramekins, condensed milk (low fat to make this dessert guilt-free), and some chopped nuts (you can also add other ingredients).

  • Grease the ramekins with some butter. (Aside from the ramekins you can use any cake tray that you have in your kitchen).
  • Powder the biscuits. Lay the powdered biscuits in the ramekins about 1 inch thick. Softly press down the biscuits by using a spoon. You can also blend the biscuit crumbs with some butter to make it bread crumb like and then press it down. Doing this will make you use much more butter.
  • Next, get the condensed milk. Drizzle it in, about ½ inch thick for each ramekin.
  • Then get the bittersweet chocolate or the unsweetened cocoa powder. Coat the chocolate over the condensed milk. Top this off with a layer of chopped cashew nuts.
  • Bake in oven with a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. Make sure that it is nicely browned because the condensed milk will bubble up. After 20 minutes, you can now remove it from the oven and start scooping out and placing them on a plate.
  • You can add whipped cream and nuts on top of each chocolate delight piece. You can also sprinkle decoratively with chocolate sauce or syrup, and add marshmallows to make it look more appetizing.
  • Tips:
    After pouring condensed milk on your ramekins, you can use some grated coconut as a layer or anything that you can use as an alternative. If you want to cut your layer into squares, then combine the powdered biscuits with 2 tablespoons of butter and rub it using your fingertips until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Use this as a layer at the bottom of the tray or ramekin and softly press down. This will provide you a good solid base therefore it will be easy for you to cut into squares once baked and cooled. It’s better to have this base in 1 inch thick.
