Hcg Diet Cottage Cheese recipe

Ingredients Needed

  1. Skim Milk (4.0 cup)
  2. Lemon Juice (0.17 oz)
  3. Salt (2.0 dash)


This is really simple to make. TIP: Use skimmed milk for a low fat cottage cheese.

  • Put the milk in a vessel or pot and bring to boil.
  • Add the lemon juice in the boiling milk and continue to boil until the whey separates.
  • Drain off the whey from the mixture using a muslin/cheese cloth or a colander and let liquid fully drain from the curdled milk.
  • You may now pour the curds into a bowl and sprinkle with salt and add cream for a silky texture if you want it to make it a little like store bought cottage cheese.
  • Mix it with any seasonal fresh fruit for a great dessert or spread on a toast or fold into a pancake batter for a quick healthy breakfast.
  • If you wish to make chunks of cottage cheese just tie the curds in the muslin/cheese cloth and press in a heavy weight.
