Hcg Diet Turkey Burger recipe

Ingredients Needed

  1. Ground Turkey (4.0 1/2 lbs)
  2. Onions (2.0 cup, chopped)
  3. Cilantro (8.0 tbsp)
  4. Chipotle Chili (2.0 chipotle chili chopped with adobo sauce)
  5. Garlic Powder (4.0 tsp)
  6. Sea Salt (4.0 tsp)
  7. Black Pepper (4.0 tsp)
  8. Mozzarella Cheese (16.0 slices)


Are you craving for burgers but you don’t want to ruin your diet? Then by following this recipe prepare turkey burger that won’t add a lot of calories and fat in your body.

  • Start by preparing your outdoor grill or by heating your greased grill pan over medium-high flame.
  • While the grill is heating, get a mixing bowl. Combine well the following ingredients into the bowl – 1 pound ground turkey, ½ cup of chopped onions, 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro, chopped chipotle peppers in adobo, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper.
  • When your mixture is combined well, get some of it and make a burger patty. You can decide how big or small and what shape the patties will look like.

    You can make 4 or more patties depend on how much mixture you use for one patty.
  • When you’re done making burger patties, put them in a wide flat plate. Then put each of the patties into the heated and greased grill.
  • Arrange the patties in a way that there is enough space between each of them. Grill the burger patties for 5 minutes or until their color changes from pink to medium/dark brown.
  • Flip over each patty to make sure that both sides is well-cooked. To make sure that the patties are completely cooked use an instant-read thermometer.
  • When the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit that means they are cooked. You can then take them out of the grill and transfer in a bowl or plate.
  • Set them aside for a while to lightly cool. When they’re ready, put each patty in your burger buns.
  • On top of the burger patty place mozzarella slices. You can also add other veggies in your turkey burger to make it more tasty and nutritious.

  • Tips in making perfect burgers:

    It is important to choose the right meat. Do not use lean and extra lean meats if you don’t want to have tough and dry burgers. It is best to use fresh ground meat in order to have tender and flavorful burger.

    Too much handling the meat will result to a tough burger patty.

    It is recommended to clean and wet your hands when forming burger patties.

    While you’re heating the grill, you can put the patties in the fridges to make the flavor-carrying fat stay in the meat and it can be as juicy as possible. When you’re ready to cook, take them out of the fridge and grill.

    Do not always flip over your patties while cooking. It is best to flip on one side only once. Cook each side for 2 minutes if you want it rare, 3 minutes for medium-rare, 4 minutes for medium, and if you want both sides of the patties to be well-done cook each side for 5 minutes.

    If you don’t want the meat juice to leak out of the meat, do not press your burger patties while cooking.

    Allow the patties to rest after being grilled. This will redistribute the juices throughout the patty and will make them juicier.
