  1. Lean Ground Turkey (8.0 oz)
  2. Onions - Raw (0.5 cup of chopped)
  3. Low Sodium Tomato Juice (1.0 serving)
  4. Carrots - Raw (0.75 strip thin)
  5. Celery - Raw (0.75 cup chopped)
  6. Diced New Potatoes (1.0 cup)
  7. Italian Seasoning (No Salt No MSG) (1.0 tsp)
  8. Skim Milk (2.0 cup)
  9. All Purpose Flour (0.25 cup)

Instructions

Here's a soup recipe that is healthy, spicy, tasty and warm. The ground turkey gives the soup a heartiness everyone will welcome on a cold blustery night.

  • Coat large saucepan with butter-flavored cooking spray then brown
    meat and onion.
  • Stir in tomato juice, carrots, celery, potatoes, and Italian seasoning mix.
  • Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat. Cover
    and simmer for 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • In a covered jar combine1 cup skim milk and flour then shake to blend.
  • Pour milk mixture into meat mixture and stir in remaining 1 cup skim milk.
  • Continue simmering for 5 minutes or until mixture is heated
    through. Serve hot.
