A delicious protein shake perfect for Level 1 of the P90X program. The delicious combination of strawberry and banana will get you craving for more. Strawberry brings in that appetizing splash of red color while the banana makes your shake smooth and creamy .

  • It only takes 2 minutes to prepare this protein shake. It’s that easy. So won’t have any reason not being able to stick to your program.
  • Prepare and measure all the ingredients needed for this delicious protein shake. Measure the servings as accurately as you can.
  • Remove the leaves from the strawberries and slice them roughly into smaller cubes.
  • Peel the banana and roughly chop it into smaller pieces as well. Chopping our fruit into smaller pieces will help our blender process our shake faster.
  • Use banana in all your protein shakes. It’s a great source of Potassium. Potassium helps prevent cramping during highly intense exercises and sports activities.
  • Strawberries on the other hand are a great source of Vitamin C.
  • Aside from strawberries and bananas you may use other tropical fruits like mangoes and pineapple. You can even use apple and oranges. Choose fruits that you like and are seasonal so that they won’t be that expensive.
  • Prepare your blender by cleaning it beforehand.
  • Pour all the ingredients into the blender. Start with fruits and add the ice last. Blast the ingredients for 2-4 minutes until all the ice are crushed and the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • For better results, use crashed iced instead of ice cubes. Better yet, get a heavy duty blender made to crash ice cubes instantly.
  • While the recipe calls for using Body Fortress Whey Protein Powder, you may use any brand of your choice. Just make sure that the protein content is compliant with the P90X nutritional plan.
