Ingredients Needed

  1. Extra Lean Ground Beef (1.0 cocktail meatball)
  2. Garlic (1.0 clove)
  3. Red Bell Pepper Ring (1.0 portion)
  4. Green Bell Peppers (0.25 cup)
  5. Chili Powder (1.0 tbsp)
  6. Cumin (1.0 tsp)
  7. Crushed Tomatoes (Canned) (100.0 g)
  8. Red Kidney Beans - Cooked (1.0 tbsp)
  9. Onion (0.5 cup)
  10. Jalapeno Peppers - Raw (1.0 cup sliced)
  11. Tomato Paste (1.0 tbsp)
  12. Black Pepper (1.0 dash)

Instructions

A delicious warm treat for everyone during cold days!

  • Heat a non stick skillet and cook ground beef and garlic until brown. Separate the meat apart with a spoon, drain off the excess fat.
  • Add bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes or until softened.
  • Add chili powder and cumin and stir to coat.
  • Mix together tomatoes, beans, sweet onion, chilies and tomato paste in the slow cooker and stir in the beef mixture.
  • Cover and cook for 4 to 5 hours .
  • Season with pepper.
