Placing another order and I'm wondering about ordering hot or cold drinks..

I have not tried anything other than a few of the shakes at this point on drinks..

So which ones are more versatile as far as changing them up a bit? I like to purchase things that I can do several things with to keep the boredom from seeping in!.

    Also are there any favorites?.

I love the hot cocoa and for cold drinks, the orange drink. But for both of them, I mix and drink as directed most of the time just because I like them "as is". The only change I make with the cocoa is to mix with coffee rather than water to make a hot mocha drink for breakfast. Yummy!.

Other than the shakes, I have only tried to the cranberry mango drink and the hot choc..

The cran-mango drink made simply as a drink was DISGUSTING, it tasted like cough medicine. However, made with crushed ice, it was pretty good as a hot summer's day drink. I managed to finish my box but probably won't order more..

I really like the hot choc fixed as hot choc, made with crushed iced, or made fairly thickly and frozen until consistency of a Wendy's frosty. I have also started making it VERY thick and using it as choc. frosting for my brownie - SINFUL! I have made it thick like cake frosting consistency and a little runnier so that it made more of a choc lava cake type thing. Both are YUMMY. I usually make it, cut it in half and split between 2 meals or it also makes a good double meal for those days that got away from me and I need to eat 2 before I go to bed.

Take my opinion for just that, my opinion. I am a chocoholic and that lava cake thing was a creation born out of PMS cravings.

If you want it especially sinful, mix the brownie mix with a wedge of LC cream cheese and it is more a cheese cake consistency and it really rich, just WOW!.

Calorie Burn Cappuccino and Mocha shake: Ice, water, 1 TBSP SF chocolate syrup, 1 TBSP SF pumpkin pie spice, mix in the blender. I use a tall travel cup with a lid so I can keep swirling the foam down into the drink (mostly the cappuccino)..

Dutch Chocolate shake - only like as a shake cake..

I make most soft serves into shakes, when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to snow-ify the ice first..

The hot cocoa is by far my favorite drink and I usually keep it hot. It's not bad as a shake, though..

I have had hot cocoa with a packet of Starbucks via instant coffee every morning since I started MF. It will probably continue when I'm done with MF..

I like both the hot chocolate and the calorie burn cappucino mixed with coffee. I've been having one or the other as my mid-morning meal for the last few days. They're also pretty good prepared with water. I've seen many people talking about making them into shakes, but I haven't tried that yet..

Love the Hot Coco or calorie burn Cappuccino mixed with my coffee in the morning this is usually my 1st meal of the day every day I have not had the Chi drink in a while but I did order it I believe I will try mixing it with my coffee as well. I also like the cranberry mango and orange drink. You just have to shake the heck out of these drinks to avoid any lumps.

Why am I the only one that thinks the Hot Chocolate is disgusting? And I love most Medifast foods. Am I doing something wrong?.

I like the orange drink a lot. I make it as a shake. More filling that way. I tend not to order drinks as much because I just don't find them as filling..

I do like the hot cocoa. I make that as a shake too. I love all the ideas someone earlier posted about other ways to have it so creative!.

I haven't tried the other fruity drinks. Plus, it's getting cold where I live, and I'm already a Medi-cicle! :-).

I use my magic bullet blender and put in one mug of room temp coffee, one vanilla shake packet and some ice and blend it up. To die for! Starbucks frappacino all the way!.

There are so many variations for shake cakes I would suggest researching using the search on the toolbar above!.

I just tried the calorie burn cappuccino today and it's DELICIOUS. A small dollop of cool whip & a dash of pumpkin pie spice make it for me. I'm drinking the cranberry mango right now and eh, I don't care for it. Same with the tropical punch. The cold drinks are too thick for me. I thought they'd be more of a crystal light consistency. I'm trying the hot chocolate tomorrow so I hope it's good!.

There are different ways to make the shake cake. I experimented with several recipes until I found one that I liked..

    Shake packet.

    1/2 tsp baking powder.

1 TBSP Egg Beaters (some recipes call for 2, but I think it makes it too egg-y).

2 TBSP SF syrup (Pumpkin pie spice is my favorite).

Mix all ingredients. Put in a sprayed ramekin. Microwave for 60 seconds..

Some people make a cream cheese frosting, but I like it plain..

I heat up my dutch-chocolate shake sometimes to have it as a variation of hot coco. I have not experimented beyond that..

I have 2 more weeks before my next order. Now hot chocolate will be at the top of the list. It sounds perfect for the upcoming months!.

The blueberry or chocolate soft bakes make a great shake with 8 oz water, crushed ice and 1 teaspoon of low fat cream cheese. The chocolate chip one is almost like chocolate chip ice cream. Also I find that all drinks are best made with a whisk or in a blender otherwise they go lumpy. I really like the Pineapple Mango smoothie. Helps when I'm having a fruit craving as it has tiny bits of pineapple in it. I also make the coffee or chocolate mint soft serve into drinks by adding more water and crushed ice.
