I thought it would be a good idea to put all feature requests in one thread. As a web-dev I know it can be easy to lose track of ideas if they're not all together

I'd like to see notification badges on the dashboard if there are updates to posts I've commented on. (or maybe if there are any updates to the groups I've joined, but I would rather only see updates for posts I've commented on)

Also, facebook/google+/twitter integration would be cool AND bring people to the site

Ability to reuse a meal rather than re-entering it on the food log.

Also, A live chat of some sort, either group or private, would be nice to just get live input and feedback on things you may be struggling with or sharing ideas that have worked for you. Regional groups would also be nice.

Try this spiffy little site for tracking your programming todo's:

After searching for a food, and you cannot find the food you are looking for, add an 'add food' button. it becomes very annoying to try and search for something that has a lot of similar results but isn't the food you want.

for the reusing a meal, the recipe feature basically does that

A way to customize your dashboard and maybe be able to put your nutrition track on there or your exercise track. . . less clicking . . more loving!!

    LOL!

Oh wait! What about water intake? That is one of the things that myfitnesspal was tracking. Could you add that?

Track trends in nutritional info (i.e. graph of daily calorie intake over last 30 days) and pie chart showing average calorie breakdown by meal (i.e. percent of calories from breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc).

Also, I second the idea of tracking water intake made by Mrs. Claus.

I would like to be able to plan meals out a day or two in advance, so I can get an idea of what things add up easier

Thanks Parker for creating this thread.. it was getting hard trying to get all the feature requests in 1 place.

We will implement and push some features during this weekend.

No problem. I run a few sites and always have something to work on, haha. Couple new ones:
    1) Ability to edit foods I've created
    2) Ability to delete foods I've created
    3) Edit serving sizes/quantities of foods in recipes without deleting/re-adding
    4) Ability to delete recipes I've created (or at least rename for now)
    5) Edit exercises without deleting/re-adding
    6) Ability to delete routines I've created (or at least rename)

Don't forget I already think the site is fantastic and these are supposed to be constructive :p You're doing great as it is!

I'm not sure if this had been mentioned elsewhere, but looking at multiple days on your food/exercise tracking. Like a weekly graph or something.

^ One way to make the site more popular would be to have an open API for reading exercise/food logs

Would love to see an option to add foods to the general database when creating a new food! Also the ability to edit foods you've created.

In the Food Log, and when adding a food, you are asked to select Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc. I think having a generic "Drinks" section for any liquids throughout the day would be beneficial.

Also a simple water tracker would be beneficial, however not everyone needs 64 ounces of water a day, so if it could be tailored to a specific user's body weight that would be great. Below is an example:

"The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake (AI) for men is roughly 100 ounces (about 12.5 cups) of total beverages a day. The AI for women is 74 ounces (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day."

Loving this site, the combination of great tracking, and motivation/incentives.

Sometime down the road, I would love if there were an opt-in to link rewards to deals/offers.

eg, if my reward is a pedicure, and when I reach it, there could be a link to businesses who are offering a deal/discounts (maybe through groupon/livingsocial/etc or individ businesses)?

It'd be nice to have the recipes better incorporated into the reward point system... for example, for the lunch I ate a few days in a row, I got 1 point if I used the recipe, but would get 50+ points for the whole grains, vegetables, etc if I spent the five minutes plugging in all the ingredients. It's kind of annoying to plug in the same 11 ingredients every day...

Is there a way of reporting inaccurate redundant entries for editing/removal.

I noticed this morning when I logged the Red Bull I had that there were two entries for plain Red Bull, plus one for Red Bull Cola (not sure if related or an actual item). The 2nd was the closest to being accurate in relation to the Nutrion Facts on the side of the can (except it shows 8.3 oz's instead of the actual 8.4 oz's.).
