Is this something that is only available in certain areas? I looked for it in my local Wal-Mart and Super 1 (owned by Brookshires), but neither of them carried it. Hopefully soon, though. I want to try it. Sometimes rural living has it's disadvantages..
The Target in southern California (Cerritos) I went to today had the MIO'sbuy 2 and get a free 24 case of arrowhead water. I got the sweet tea and berry pom. Can't wait to try!!.
What can I say but YUM!!!! This stuff is awesome! I tried the Mango Peach and the Strawberry Watermelon. Put a tiny squirt of the MP in my cranberry mango Medifast drink this morning to pep it up a bit and it was deeelisshhh! Went back to my local Walmart this evening and their display was almost sold out. Bought another MP and also Fruit Punch flavor and Berry Pom. I did see that 2 squirts is supposed to equal I think 1 condiment. How.... if it has no calories, etc....
As long as items are below 5 calories and 1 carb they can be marketed as 0 cal, 0 carb..
I put a little berry-pom into my vanilla shake today, but it was just too sweet for me. The flavor was good, kind of berries and cream, but too sweet. But I'm also pretty sensitive to sweetness. When I use it for water I tend to only use about 1 short squirt in 32 ounces of water..
Particular - somebody posed the question to nutrition on how to count it - so that's where I got that info. To me, zero is zero, but they say it's supposed to count as either part or a whole condiment (can't remember at moment). Either way, it's a nice thing to add a little bit of change up to a few things. It can be really sweet if you get a bit too much in your drink, whether water or shake, or cran mango. Haven't tried it in the Medifast tea yet, but need to give that a whirl too. Wondering how it might taste on soft serve also? Haven't been brave enough yet to even try my soft serve sample pack. Shame on me..
I used very little MIO, as I always do, because I'm not really into sweets. For me, the vanilla shake is already almost two sweet so it doesn't take much to go over into the absolutely too sweet zone..
As far as the <5 and <1 comment, that's why items that are marked 0 cal, 0 carb still count as condiments. If an item is marked as zero carbs, it could still have .9 g carbs and if you used it without discretion it would add up. That's why Nutritional Support recommended that a serving be considered a condiment..
So I have to say that I was a bit skeptical about the MIO, but I decided to trust my fellow MF'ers and I bought some today. I put 2 squeezes of the sweet tea in my water, and wow...I was surprised. I have stayed away from iced tea because I am a southern girl and I love me some tea with my sugar....but this really hit the spot! I would definitely recommend it....tomorrow I will try another flavor.....until then....have a happy OP day!!!.
MiO is a flavor enhancer that can be used to squirt in your water. An earlier post in this thread has a link to a Kraft website about the product. It may be found in the grocery store with sodas and waters or with drink powders like Crystal Light..

(Just in case anyone else was wondering, like me.... Can you tell I pretty much stay away from the drinks and sodas aisle in the store? LOL).
Cheers,.

Here what nutrition support had to say:.
Hello, my name is Matt, I am one of the Registered Dietitians with Nutrition Support..
Thank you for the posting!.
Based on the information provided, I would count 1/2 teaspoon or the two squirts as 1 condiment..
Enjoy!!.
Thanks, Matt RD, LDN.
