Spices to your taste (I like chili powder, garlic and cumin). I also make Italian ones using Italian seasoning.
Stir, then spread mixture out thinly and evenly on a silicone mat (or parchment paper)..
Microwave for 3-4 minutes. Take it out flip it over and if all is done, let sit for a few minutes as it will become firmer. If not, pop back in the microwave for about 30 more seconds... Just make sure the center of the tostada shell is not thicker than the outsides or your outsides will get done and your inside will stay mushy.
I get 1 tostada shell that's about 10" in diamter or make 2 of them by using half at a time and making them smaller..
I LOVE it. I do this same thing when I just want chips and salsa.
If you reduce the cooking time, they will stay softer and you can make soft tacos that fold.
I had my L&G for lunch since no one will be home for dinner tonight. Spinach with 2 oz faux crab, tbs hard boiled eggs, cucumbers (4 thin slices), green peppers (4 thin slices) and a super light drizzle of balsalmic. Not full servings, so if I'm hungry later and I can have a few more veggies..
Thanks for the Tostada shell recipe!! Can't wait to try it! Would be really good for me on weekends, as I actually have trouble getting all my meals in (NEVER thought I would say that.
Made quite a few Cauliflower Pizza Crusts over the weekend, so having BBQ Chicken Pizza....YUM!.
Be careful with the imitation crab (surimi)every variety I've checked has too many carbs to be a lean. Apparently there is a lot of starch in the paste they make it out of..
I'm having leftover spaghetti squash, meatballs and marinara. It won't be as good as it was the other night because I froze it and the squash will be kind of mushy, but I still enjoy it..
I had turkey burgers on revolution rolls (the burgers cooked only equaled 4 1/8 oz, so I added low fat mozz. cheese till it equaled 5 oz.), with light miracle whip, romaine lettuce and a side dish of "mock" spanish rice...........along with some homemade club soda!!!! YUMMY!!!.
Tater - I do the COT and smear it on a hot griddle into a big circle.......sometimes I add some parm cheese, fresh basil.......then chop up some romaine/salad and make a wrap!!!.
Soccer - I was excited to see Faux crab, then I saw Junipers comment - but I was going to ask anyway - if you've asked Nutritional Support about faux crab and how much we can have. After all they say we can have 6 chick-fil-a nuggets for a lean.........
I made the whopper salad which I think is so good! This time I used very lean ground beef instead of boca burgers and it was super yummy. My son joined me for dinner and he thought it was really tasty too..

I am allergic to milk, so no Cream of Tomato for me. Perhaps one of the other soups will work..
Does sound good, tho.
