OK so I know I am not supposed to be getting on the scale daily, but it's there-& I cant help it. I am in the middle of week 2 along with 2 of my gfs. They have been weighing too. 1st week was great, this week so far I think we have only lost around .2??? Is this normal? We are staying OP & I am hoping that we will see the loss by the end of the week. Any tips?.

Weigh at the same time of day (I'm an after-my-morning-pee kinda girl) and in the same "attire". And don't worry... it'll come off if you're working the plan..

Weight loss is not linear. There are fructuations from day to day, and in the same day. If the scale number will be a source of frustration find other ways to measure progress - take your measurements or go by how your clothes fit..

Sometimes the scale does not ove but the clothes are looser. This program works. Just stick with it and the weight will come off..

Yeah, totally normal. Check out my stats from my first month below..

I'm a daily weigher - at first I tried to stay away from the scale because I worried it would disappoint me. But at this point, I'm very analytical about it. I get on the scale each morning before I've had anything to eat/drink, and if it's gone up a little bit, I think about what I did the day before. Did I take in more salt than normal? Did I eat an extra snack? Did I exercise? Salt intake caused water retention. Exercise also causes water retention (a response to inflammation). TOTALLY normal and ok..

Your weight is going to fluctuate from day to day, it's the week to week trend that matters. As you can see from my stats, I have NEVER had a gain from week to week but I can tell you that I HAVE gained from day to day..

Try to think about it analytically - use it as a tool to make minor corrections/adjustments to what you're eating/drinking/doing. Really useful!.

My weight fluctuates like crazy. I've kept track for the past couple weeks. Take a look:.

If the number on the scale is going to derail your progress, stop weighing. Put your scale in the closet for a while. I've had to do that. Follow the plan as written and you'll see a downward trend..

Oh, I feel your pain. I am one day short of my two week weigh in and so far in week 2 I've lost....NOTHING! If I was farther along (past the initial week 1 water weight) I could deal with it. I'm not though, and it makes me want to throw in the towel...again..

Three years ago I lost 30 pounds (my monthly losses are below in what I labeled 'goal'). I patted myself on the back for awhile for keeping it off and then wham, it's back. I have been trying ever since to "do it again", but have had soooo many 're-starts'. I kept going off it because the scale wouldn't budge. This time I said I am going to do it, and I have been 100% OP with no exceptions. I really thought being extra vigilant would do the trick....but it hasn't. It's almost time to re-order but I told myself I wouldn't if I didn't lose anything....again..

Well one thing is for sure, although the scale might not be moving much I feel so much better about the way that I am eating. Before I would eat 500 cals without blinking an eye. I like that I am accountable for what I am eating now. Hoping before monday it budges a little though-just to give me some extra motivation for week 3!.
