    Hey Leslie,.

Had same sort of issue but mine was alot lower. Went to urologist and started shots every 2 weeks. I am on Medifast and have not had any problems. After the shots I feel energized, sex drive is excellent, no loss of muscle tone ( actually increased size ), and mind is stronger..

I have been on the "T" shots for almost 2 years and it works!.

I perfer the shots over anything because it's quick, can't wait til they come out with the new method so I will only take it every 3 months..

    Hope this helps you..

    Ed.

    Ed.

Thanks for the info. just wondering if they tried to find the root cause of the low T. My doc just gave me the script. Seems like this is a common way to do things these days. Treat the systoms and go on. Glad to here it worked for you. I am hoping I get the same results..

    Leslie,.

Similar situation here - very low, and caused what my life called whiney ***** (rhymes with witch) syndrome for me ::grins::.

I use testim, which is a gel applied once daily in the morning to the shoulders and chest - it is easy, painless, and works! No problems with using it and Medifast that I or my doctor can see. Drug is expensive compared to the shots or the patch, but the patch adhesive gave me chemical 'burns' after a few months of usage (apparently I am allergic to something in the glue - I have gluten intolerance, which may be it). I chose not to go the shot route, because, in my doc's opinion, you just don't get as level a dosage. He was not against it by any means (tip of the hat to Ed) - just different choices for different lifestyles..

Use your drugs as prescribed by your doc, move on with life, and enjoy having normal levels again once you get there, sir!.

And yes, Steph - some of us get the hormonal things going on as well! ::grins::.

Please keep us posted on how this progresses with plan, if you are comfortable doing so. I've not suffered from low testosterone such as what you describe, but I've noticed that when I am thinner and more active, I get a natural boost in production. I'm curious if you guys will need the drugs as you reach goal, especially after transitioning off plan and into a long-term, healthy lifestyle. It seems the same issues that got us the weight affect all other areas in our lives, including possibly our testosterone production..

I'm hoping you will not need the drugs long-term. How cool would that be?.

Low testosterone in men is sometimes treated medically, with testosterone supplementation. While testosterone therapy has yet to be approved for women in the United States, some doctors do prescribe it off-label to treat sexual problems and other symptoms associated with low testosterone in women. There are some generic medication also available in the market such as Cheap Generic Viagra which helps out men to increase testosterone.
