You really need the parchment. It's right next to the aluminum foil at the grocery store. Reynolds make parchment paper and it's in the same kind of roll as the aluminum foil..

Hi all, happened to notice "zucchini crisps" well I got this recipe off of the show Kitchen Boss and happen to love parmesan crisps and I ran it by the dietician and she said if you make it into 36 crisps and have 3 for a healthy fat, that is totally acceptable. I haven't made it yet but plan to tomorrow..

    Parmesan-Pepper Crisps.

    YIELD Makes about 26 crisps
.

    INGREDIENTS.

2 cups (4 ounces) loosely packed coarsely-grated Parmesan cheese.

    2 teaspoons black pepper.

    PREPARATION:.

    1. Preheat oven to 400F. Line wire racks with paper towels..

    2. Place heaping teaspoonfuls cheese 2 inches apart on ungreased nonstick baking sheet. Flatten cheese mounds slightly with back of spoon. Sprinkle each mound with pinch of pepper..

    3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crisps are very lightly browned. (Watch closely–crisps burn easily.) Let cool on baking sheet 2 minutes; carefully remove with spatula to prepared racks. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 3 days..

Oops made a little mistake about her comments about the recipe, here is exactly what she told me about the parmesan crisps..

    Hello Kath10,.

Thanks for your post. My name is Meridith, a Registered Dietitian for Nutrition Support..

2 cups (4 ounces) loosely packed coarsely-grated Parmesan cheese (32 Condiments).

2 teaspoons black pepper (4 Condiments).

    Total/recipe: 36 Condiments.

(I would suggest dividing mixture into 36 "crisps") 3 Crisps will count as 3 Condiments for the day..

    I hope this helps!.

    Have a lovely day,.

YUMMMY!!!! The zucchini crisps are SO YUMMY!!!! Just like potato chips!!!! Only problem is WOW do they shrink. I can't believe that is ALL of my GREENS right there in a handful LOL... Looks like I'm gonna need extra water tonight to be full..

Why can't it be three cups of these crispy slices of loveliness? Hmmm.....

I'll be honest, I wouldn't use all 3 condiments for the day on 3 crisps unless I absolutely had no other choice. This means no condiments in preparing your lean, your green, or any medifast meals. It doesn't seem like much food to take away my condiments! I love parmesan cheese and we can have 1tbsp as 1 condiment. I prefer instead to have it with my cream of chicken soup that I put in my sandwich maker, I make it into little grilled cheese sandwiches. Or, to put it on a salad..

Just a suggestion since I know you are pretty new to Medifast. I guess only you can decide if it's worth it to you to not have any other condiments in the day. (I know for me, I would also be tempted to eat more than the 3 I was allowed.).

I gotta say I love this idea- if you are visually into presentation - one chip= 1 condiment = beautiful presentation. Also an excellent idea for parties for a "uniform" medifast dish that everyone can have..
