    I love this thread!.

I am having my L&G for lunch today and it is the same as my dinner as I loved it so much egg white omlet ... 1 whole egg, 1 cup egg whites, garlic, green peppers, hot pepper cause and light laughing cow cheese on top ... eating it right now.

My son's school has a hot dog BBQ tonight so thought it would be safer to just eat my L&G at home for lunch as I am pretty sure a bunless hotdog is NOT a lean.

I think some tilapia, cup of spinach and some mashed cauli. Last night I had that with swordfish and it was SO GOOD. Very light and filling..

I'm looking forward to my L&G tomorrow night because.........wait for it.......wait for it........I finally found Spaghetti Squash in Chicago!!!!!!!!! So excited to make spaghetti squash with turkey meatballs tomorrow night!.

Grilled sea bass, green beans and salad! Found some good flavored olive oils that are taking boredom out of salad.

I am "cooking" my first meal in my new house tonight, no more takeout for me! I'm having a big salad with an envelope of tuna, a sprinkle of feta cheese and lowfat ranch dressing. Tomorrow I'll have exactly the same thing, because Saturday I'm starting the drive back to my "old" house to finish getting it ready for sale and finish packing, so I need to use up the salad greens..

How do you make the taco salad?.

I personally just brown some lean ground beef, season it with taco seasoning mix and then throw it on a salad. I'll use a little less than the full lean amount so I can add some reduced fat cheddar on top. I use salsa instead of dressing..

I do taco salad with ground turkey (I always have - I don't eat much beef) My Medifast modification is using the seasoned meat (I use low sodium taco seasoning, but it's a heavy condiment day nonetheless) with spinach or spring salad greens, tomatoes & bell peppers, with a little salsa as well. I don't use cheese or sour cream (or greek yogurt) - all things I would "normally" use. For me - it's the seasoned meat I like the most. And I'll add a little more water than recommended when I'm seasoning the meat - then my salad isn't dry..

I have used a little avocado on occasion, but that does put the calorie level pretty high (and depending on what level of fat% turkey you use, a healthy fat might not be in the daily plan).
