Wondering if anyone has ever traveled with Medifast foods. I am taking a trip to Disney in a few weeks (yeah!) and wonder if I will have any problems getting my Medifast food thru security at the airport. I will just be taking the bars for convenience sake..

We will be doing only carry-on luggage so won't be checking anything. Has anyone had experience with Medifast foods and airport security?.

    Thanks!.

You won't have any problem as long as you're not trying to go thru security with ready-to-drink shakes..

I recently flew with my Medifast food with no problem. The only thing security looked at were the foil packs of tuna I also packed in case the airport salads didn't have enough lean on them. But they didn't remove them, just looked at them..

The only thing they really care about is fluid stuff, so as the other poster stated, no RTD shakes..

I went to Canada with Medifast food, no issues. I brought shakes and bars, carried on my luggage..

When I went to Dallas last month for a week I packed a bunch of Cinnamon Pretzels and Lemon Bars in my carry on w/o any issue..

I flew just three weeks ago. I did get my bag examined because I had tuna in small cans. in my carry-on. That was the only thing they were concerned about. My bars weren't a problem. Have fun..

I've flown with baggies full of Medifast food (checked and carry on), and have never had a problem. I never tried to bring tuna, but I will definitely do that next time I travel..

No problem. I flew internationally last winter with Medifast foods- bars, shake mixes, etc, plus a shaker bottle. As others have said, as long as you are not carrying liquids, you are OK. I would just buy bottled water to mix up my shake or cocoa. I'd mix the cocoa with hot coffee to heat it up..
