    Still sore from Saturday's 1/2 marathon but wanted to tell y'all....I would have never imagined running 13.1 miles, EVER...and now that I have, there is no stopping me! Excuses are simply lies you tell yourself, if you want it bad enough then make it happen!!!

    Today has been an AWESOME day! I am a Health Coach and had a new client weigh in this morning...she lost just over 10 pounds in one week on the Medifast 5&1 program. It truly is amazing. This is my PROUD COACH moment of the day!!

    @BoosMommy I just started medifast and have a health coach but would love any advice.. My first week was awful.. I guess I didn't have my head in the game. I need to lose 60 lbs and hope I'm down 30 by my sons grad in may.. Is this possible

      Anything is possible once you set your mind to it. Your health coach should help you troubleshoott what went wrong with Wk 1. Take Shape for Life is all about support and us coaches guide you through it all...you're never alone! 30# by May is totally feasible....you have to be ALL IN and remind yourself daily WHY you started this journey.       I really could use someone to tell me what amount of calories I should b on & give me inspiration. Especially around 7:00p.m til round 10:00p.m. I have such a hard time keeping myself from eating then. I dwelling I'm starving to death.

Follow this link to get an apprx number of calories required to maintain your weight. If you want to lose weight, then deduct 500 calories per day from that figure and increase your level of activity. Be cautious not to burn too many calories, as that can hinder your weightloss progress. Feel free to email for additional info! Khock76@yahoo.com

      OMG, girl when dou stop? I can't stay that busy. I'm older & I just would like encouragement& someone 2 give me inspiration. What amount of cal. to use. How much 2 walk on my walkmaster what kind of food to each. What r good snacks. I eat alot of fruit. Work in the garden alot. I've had both my knees replaced about 2 years ago & I have a hard time walking long ways. I'm 5'3" & weigh bout 158 lbs. Thanx so much.

      Thanks for posting that. The farthest I have run is 8k which is about 5 miles. A half Marathon is on my to do list in the near future. What was your time? And any advice?

      I would definitely recommend going ahead and registering for a race. Mentally this starts the training. Give yourself at least three months to train. I tried to cram mine into eight weeks, more time would have been nice. And, go get fitted for proper running shoes.

      I said the same exact thing 3 months ago, but lost 20+ lbs and shifted the way I thought about health! My mind and body are focused on checking this 2013 goal off the list!!!

      Kay HG - My success is attributed to Take Shape for Life (TSFL) where I had a health coach walk me through the weightloss process. I'm now a Health Coach helping others achieve their desired weightloss goals...its so awesome! One of my goals is to run a 1/2 marathon, I'm still amazed that it's actually happening in just a few days!!
