Very cool theory, fannytastic read about our natural gifts and our tendency to bury them. Best read in a while http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/finding-love/201109/how-your-greatest-insecurities-reveal-your-deepest-gifts Also follow me on twitter DParker007

@DParker007 Hey, saw you posted on the wall for the 'Writes the Wrongs' challenges about my asthma, and yes, I'm actually doing quite a bit for my asthma nowadays, including going vegetarian (hopefully vegan soon), and I've even started acupuncture, and I'm drinking a lot of tea\, among other things. Thank you for the concern, and you will certainly hear much more about my asthma as time goes on...it's honestly 90% of the reason why I'm on this site, and trying to eat better.

Wow, that was a good read. For me, I take friendship very seriously and that is my weakness too because I always get let down as I put too much into it, and realize others don't really care.

My daughter sells Herbalife and I've tried the French Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, Pumpkin Spice and Cappucino. They ALL taste good! Mixing them with soy milk gives you more of a protein boost, but they taste just as good with skim milk. My husband has been mixing it in with his cereal in the morning. He gets the crunch of the cereal plus the healthy boost of Herbalife. He says that his breakfast stays with him longer when he adds the Herbalife.

I would also recommend the Herbal Tea Concentrate. It's great for in-between meals to keep you from getting hungry. If you want to jump-start your weight loss, try the Thermo-Bond tablets. They're like Alli without the diarrhea side effects. :)

Hmm.. haven't tried the shakes, but Herbalife.. aren't they a multi-marketing company?

I have actually seen someone loose a lot of hair after being on that so be careful.

@Aikawa: I believe they are, and there isn't anything wrong with network marketing but I'm not into selling lotions and potions. lol @DParker007: I actually take a supplement mix that is fantastic! It's a multi-vitamin, amino acid, antioxidant, and enzyme supplement that's FDA approved! It's sooo Good! I have more energy and I feel healthier and I also find myself making better choices! I just add it to my smoothies in the morning.

I wanna try some of these things. Are they supposed tp replace meals or be in addition to?

    • img

      oddspirit07480 days ago

Herbalife shakes are meant to be a meal replacement for two meals a day. However, my husband and I are not big on the meal replacement idea so we're finding other ways to use it to assist us with weight loss. Have not had any hair loss as reported by Martini. Neither has my daughter and she uses it more than I do. My husband is bald so he doesn't count. ;)
