    Made a tasty chorizo, onion, and peppers with an egg this morning... Couldn't eat it cause my stomach is really feeling awful :(

    On week 3 of C25K, managed to get under a 13min/mile pace this morning. Going grain free (kind of starting Friday), slipped a couple times this weekend, but not doing too bad. Trying to go mostly Paleo, but I don't want to lose my ability to eat grain or dairy if I can help it (a little grain and milk every once in awhile shouldn't hurt my diet too much).

    Didn't do too well this weekend. Still dragged myself to tkd and did well on saturday. Decided to limit running to 2 times a week since that seems to be all my body can take (tkd takes priority). Getting back in the groove starting today.

    Gah! Work lunch tomorrow at P.F. Changs... any suggestions? Is there anything I can eat there that doesn't validate the No added sugar challenge?

    Didn't eat too well this weekend, but tried not to eat too much at any one meal. Did my jogging though and lots of walking, even biked to breakfast one of the days. Weighed myself for the first time in two weeks, haven't really gained or lost weight, so not bad (hoping the reason I haven't lost is due to the starting of running and muscle gain).

    Felt terrible yesterday, couldn't run or do TKD... Didn't get a cupcake that was offered to me by the boyfriend at least, and ended up doing 50 pushups. Hoping I start feeling better today (so far feeling a bit better, but not great).

    Opted for the oatmeal at work instead of at Caribou, only had 1 tbsp of brown sugar (that's a leg up for me) with a banana. Resisted getting some vitamin D milk too.

    Decided to go to once a month or less of weighing in since I'm upping my exercise from 2 times a week to 5+ (added running). Figured the muscle gain is going to offset the weight loss for awhile.

    Ended up being able to run yesterday after all (rain stopped). Didn't quite do as well, but had better interval paces. Not quite as sore today either :D.

    Just had a complete fail for lunch (butter chicken and naan)... Will do well the rest of the day, and exercise to make up a bit for it.

      I think cutting sugar and processed junk out is the most important part of the paleo diet. I still eat greek yogurt (no sweetener) and cheese on occasion =)

      Yeah, agreed. Already going to be way over my sugar due to onions, a peach, and a banana (I need potassium)... Going to need to cut back on the fruit I think

      The Maple Brown Sugar Crunch is mine, along with dark chocolate mochas. Haven't had a mocha in quite awhile though (two months I think).

      Haha, my favorite drink has always been the Mocha, dark chocolate, small amount of whip, extra hot! Now, I have one as a treat about once a month.

      well maybe you can do some calisthenics such as pushups burpees etc. basically body weight exercises to make up for running , Do the exercises at a high tempo like in a circuit fashion

      Depending on the size and layout of your house, I like to put on my hiking pack(small) and walk a "circuit" in my house. The extra weight makes each step worth more. The 2 year old likes to follow me :D All the bonus is, Air conditioning!!!

      I would do the circuit thing, but still in an apt (could run the steps in the future though). Skipping rope sounds fun too. Luckily the rain stopped and just had to run on damp pavement. Hoping the rain holds up tomorrow!

      It's soooo bad for you though, like fast food bad -_-. Chicken isn't terrible (sauce is fatty), but the naan is downright bad. Food for thought next time.

      Yup agreed! Hoping the rain lets up enough to run tonight, or I'll do some other bodyweight exercises tonight. Have a nice sirloin steak and veggie stir fry planned for tonight.
