Well I had my cheat meal for the week! My husband wanted pizza and beer last night and I did. I finished that off with a GREAT workout this morning and no more cheat meals for me this week!!! ALSO..i would normally not even log those calories because I beat myself up for it, but I did, to hold myself accountable! I am human =) On a side note Insanity "cardio abs" Kicked my butt today! OUCH!

I workout every week day, even sometimes on the weekend. I need to get my butt in gear when it comes to eating. I will eat healthy all day long and then binge eat at nights! I have the body type that has to have constant exercise and eating right to maintain a nice figure. I like to use this website when I start to eat like a pig again. I need to write down my calories and hold myself accountable for them!

Well I have been maintaining between 1300 and 1500 calories a day now for about a month and have seen no results. That is because I was not eating healthy all the time. I was still just eating junk. ALSO, this colder fall weather has made me want to make and eat all the carbs in the world! Today is day one of me and my husband on low carb. We are going to see what it can do for us. I have lost 10 lbs doing this before!

@Emily99rose I see that you do Insanity. Are you a coach, or are you connected to an active coach?

No I am not a couch. No I am not connected to one. My husband got into it. He sort of connected with a couch last year because he actually got to go shoot the infomercial with the insanity people!! But I'm couch less. I started doing insanity again about two weeks ago.

As long as it's in moderation (and planned usually helps a lot!), cheat meals are a great little reward. It is great to hear that you counted it, but did not feel guilty about it! I think it's important to log it, so that you don't forget and steal another cheat meal. They add up. Logging it is great discipline...I know how hard it is to put that on your food diary in black and white. But it's so important to track so that you do it RIGHT! Good job on your followup workout, too. :-)

It's such a huge thing that you already know exactly what your weaknesses are. Makes it so much easier to correct! Some things that helps me from late-night binging: Have my meal prepared or planned. Have some berries on hand for any dessert cravings. Brush my teeth as soon as I'm done eating my last planned meal...for some reason that mentally tells me I'm done. Good luck!

Me too!!! I'm good all day and ruin it with a few minutes of satisfaction. So frustrating!

This website definitely helps! I'm at the point now where I don't even have to log my food everyday but still am very cautious and aware of what I am eating. I never thought I'd be like that, but I am finally able to hold myself accountable!

Yes it's at night when I just go crazy and eat snacks not health ones. Bt I do try and stop my self. I am going to try the brush my teeth after eating. Maybe it will help me out.

I was doing a similar thing before joining this site. Now I'm a lot better at getting my calories from a good balance of foods and I have been able to lose weight. Good luck with the low-carb diet. It's tough work, but it's also pretty effective!

Agreed with RBH! Not easy, but definitely worth it. Good luck to you both! You're lucky to have a dieting buddy at home!
