    Just leveled up to 11 :) and list a pound this week. I've not been as strict in the last few weeks. Kinda been maintaining need to get back to my strictness !!! Haven't been logging anything.

    My girls and I made a strawberry smoothie. Actually we jut blended strawberries up. It was wonderful!!! Does anyone have any smoothie suggestions?

    My motivation had flew the coop. But I went to a family reunion this weekend and saw family members that have lost weight and are looking good. It has really helped me get back on track. Now I am ready to conquer this week and lose more weight!!! I've already made my chicken for this weeks salads and boiled me some eggs too. Went to the grocery store and bought all kinds of veggies and fruit. Can't wait to get back on track :)

    Going to family reunion today...but I plan on staying strong :) I have seen relatives that I haven't seen for a while and they have lost weight. One has lost like 48 lbs. it has really helped my motivation to see that if they can do it then so can I !!! One of these days they will look at me and be amazed at the weight that I have lost :)

    My girls and I are taking a canning class on Mondays and they always have a nutritious snack for us to eat on break. Tonight's was a homemade salsa and veggie chips. I've never had veggie chips. They ate delicious!!! The salsa was really good too. They had a can of corn, black beans, onions, pineapples and rotel all mixed together for the salsa. Fast, easy and wonderful :)

    Just steamed my first bit of broccoli. It is really good! I put some in my salad. I'm going to try steaming other veggies too :)

    Ok...I'm grabbing myself by the collar and getting back on track. This weekend was a mess. Emotional eating is killing me. I cannot go back to eating the way I use to. My health depends on losing this weight! So, I'm staying away from the food and putting my tennis shoes on for the treadmill!!!!!

    I'm not even hungry but I want to eat something so i think I will go to the bathroom and brush my teeth so I won't eat! This is my downfall...night eating. Brushing my teeth usually helps. I wish my kitchen had a door on it, I would let my hubby put a padlock on it and not give me the combination ;)

    Just weighed in. Lost 2 lbs. Today is my 9th week here and I haven't had a soda. This makes 26 lbs. I still have a lot to go (about 150 more) but I am on my way to feeling better. It is easy over the years to put it on!!! I put it on pound by pound and I intend to take it off pound by pound. I have set my goals low so I can reach them. To look at it and say I need to lose 150 lbs. it is way too overwhelming! But to look at the small goals, 10 lbs. at a time, it is not so bad.

    Just brought my treadmill in the house and time for some walking!!! A lot better to walk inside then out when the temp. Is in the 80s. I can't take the heat :)

    Got on the scales this morning to see how much I had gained and I've lost 2 more lbs!!!! I can't believe it. I sure thought I had gained during vacation but I've not :) that makes 24 lbs in 2 months of slim kicker.

    I have got to get back on track!!! Since vacation I just can't get myself back in gear and I HAvE to!!!! I bought a treadmill and have it in an out building we use as a family room but I think I will bring it in the house where I will see it and use it !

      I actually do something similar - to make a single serving I put about 1C of matcha latte (green tea powder, a tiny bit of honey/agave, and soy/almond/coconut/regular milk) and 1C unsweetened frozen raspberries through the blender. It's tasty if you like green tea.

      Add a handful or two of spinach to your smoothies :) I swear you can't taste it and it's SOOooooOOOoo good for you and a great way to sneak some greens into your diet.

      Peanut butter banana smoothie: blend 3 frozen bananas, 1/2 cup of peanut butter and 1 1/2 cups of the milk of your choice (we use coconut milk). Enjoy :)

      Broccoli tastes even better if you roast it in the oven with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. I do most of my veggies this way now.

      I looove broccoli! Instant way, i put them in a microwaveable container with some water, salt, and pepper then just heat it. Blanched like a lazy boss. :p

      Don't beat yourself up - you probably needed the release! There's no point punishing yourself, we all do it. I can tell you don't want to go back to how you were before - and you know what? You wont. Because you've been kicking ass and you'll keep kicking ass, who cares about a little slip? :)

      You can do this! At some point it will hit you that eating emotionally doesn't make life better. I'm not saying that I'm perfect at this, but there is always another way out of our troubles.

      HaCee, If you find the right way of eating for you, your cravings will greatly diminish. For me, it's a very strict Paleo type diet. As I learn to live this way, my emotional eating is pretty well gone. And I feel GREAT!!

      You can drink lots of stuff, or some fruits. I normally go to sleep very late, so I try drinking coffee or tea or anything similar.

      What about a 60 calorie all fruit Popsicle? Breyers makes great ones and they always satisfy my cravings. The sugar isn't bad either!

      As long as you dust yourself off and get back onto the right track, it doesn't matter if you indulge every now and then! Remember that it has to be sustainable for you - if you deny yourself forever, can you honestly imagine sticking with it in the long run? Keep up the good work :)

      WTG!!!! Another way to do it. I do this now for myself is do ten percent of your weight loss at a time. So if you are 200lbs then it would be 20lb loss to aim for. Again, wtg!! Keep it up :D
