    it's been a long time since I have been on here. I am back. I've got my husbands fitbit onto my account (washed mine last year), and I have been trying since Jan to lose weight. I had surgery last Nov, so I was and still am healing. So going slow. I tried to go faster and ended up finishing four weeks of Jillian Michaels, but had a good month of set backs. So here's to getting at it again. After a 15lbs weight gain, I finally dropped a full 6.2lbs this morning! Yay! Keep on trucking

    I'm so tired. I just want to sleep. two days of half marathon training in a row. phew. Didn't make my walk this am :( To be honest, too tired. But I did spend two hours trying to sort out the kids toys in teh basement which meant moving furniture, etc. still a workout lol

    I went over what I wanted today because dumb me ate not 1 but 2 chocolate bars. Ugh, that time of month sucks. Only chocolate will do. But seriously, I should have stopped at buying only one and forgot the sale. sigh. On that note, glad I ran inside on the treadmill today. I ended up pantless a mile in. My yoga pants no longer fit. They are tooo big! Definitely showing inches lost even if I'm hanging on at 181.

    I'm having a rough go of it today. So down that I just ate 2.5bowls of the sugariest cereal. ugh. My saving grace tonight will be that I have a 4 mile training run to do. crap. k, need to get it back together.

    This kind of sucks. all I've eaten was eggs and fruit so far today that's breakfast and a morning snack and I'm over my sugar limit. The limit seems low then if we are supposed to eat fruits and veggies, yet you do and it goes over with two fruit :S

    9am is too early when you go to bed at 2am. Goal, get up eat and go for a morning walk to cross of a new challenge. Keep moving, keep moving keep moving. (tell me whne I can go back to sleep lol)

    A bit sore from yesterday. Since it's raining it's easy to make it a rest day and cleaning out the basement to keep me moving even though I just want to sleep

    I am training for a half marathon in October. I did my first run in over a year. Thought I only ran 3.5-4 miles. I did a total of 7.4miles. ran 6. holy cow. And I feel amazing!

    Stressed about today and I broke and had two cookies around 2am. Partially hubby's fault, what the heck was doing baking cookies and leaving them out :/ Ok, old habits die hard.

    Been working in the garden these last two days and doing modified pushups. My arms and legs hurt! Need to get some stretching in. Stretching, my downfall.

    I'm back to being static with my weight between 183 and 185lbs. My only saving grace is I have lost some inches in my belly and my thighs. Hoping this static is muscle building.

      Rest is just as important as the training. Make sure you get enough sleep, and combined with your training, you'll do so much better as your muscles need time to recover.

      I got a nap, but probably need more sleep as it feel slike I didn't. i should rest. but I have 4 kids. and so much to do :S

      For chocolate fixes I eat Nature Valley dark choc granola bars, cocoa dusted almonds, nut+choc trail mix, and fiber brownies!!!

      I changed my sugar limit to 45 so I could have two fruit without going red. You can change this in your Settings at top RHA of pc screen. It's your game, you can play it how you like, Jo

      Thurdsay is my cleanout day (bins day) so I will clean the fridge of all old food, I am not eating so many vegetables the last few days, they have become old and boring, so I will buy fresh. I will have to get a system for not wasting food, eg daily stirfry or soup to use up oddments of veges.

      I ate so poorly yesterday and was over :S Back at it today. Our veggies don't last long enough in our home to go old. Thankful my kids like to eat them.

      Losing inches is great news! If you're still worried about a plateau, why not try changing some things around? Try different exercises than the ones you have been doing, or take a new diet challenge. Maybe the No Added Sugar or the 30 Days Without Grain (if you want to try a real doozy!) would fit the bill :)

      Agree with ecto. Switch things up big time. If you're weight isn't changing but you're losing inches, then you are definitely gaining muscle.

      Grizzled is right. Change something up in your diet and your workout routing and you should be able to beat your plateu!

      it doesn't involve challenges, but you could always make your own out of it! do you use pinterest? they have soo many workouts on there, i pin them and then use a different one each week so i'm mixing things up, i don't get bored, and my arms are almost always sore afterwards. :)

      I do pinterest. I should start doing that. problem is I have so many places to go. I did start the 20 pushups a day and just did a ton of weeding in my garden today. More to grow. Apparently I did more weed growing than gardening up to this point :/
