    Just uploaded an image of my next reward: a new big easel. The small one I have is a bit limiting. Since a good sturdy one can be a bit expensive, it will be my reward for completing the next 2 levels rather than 1 level.

    With the tragedy that my little brother is going through, we are all stressed out of our minds. I'm scared for him and for my parents, and I need to be strong for them and for my other siblings. Don't care what I eat; this week is all about praying, positive thinking, and trying to minimize stress, so I can be there for them. The months ahead will be very though on us all.

    Did well all day, then fell into a bag of doritos my boyfriend left lying around. At least there was not much left. Then I went to the gym, frist time in 2 weeks! Overall, a good day regardless.

    Having a good day so far. Rainy day so I'm having a lazy day at home doing chores, catching up on life. Tonight I'm going to watch the premiere of a play, two of my friends play in it.

    Went to the gym and did my full workout, first time in about 2 months (aside the occasional short cardio). Feeling tired but good. I'll sleep well tonight!

    One day of bad eating and I'm up 4 lbs. I know most of it is water or that I haven't completely digested dinner yet, but it is still very depressing. Back to smoothie for breakfast, salad for lunch.

    Yesterday I eat not too bad, but not today. After the funeral in my boyfriend's family I eat way to much leftovers just because I'm tired and sad. I'll do better tomorrow.

    @Kittee83 Hang in there! I'm doing ok, I had a really tough time the last 2 years but now it's getting better. It's still not over but I'm getting better coping mechanisms. Recently I started taking a self-defense class, and went back to the gym for the first time in 2 years. Small steps for now, and focusing more on cardio and strength than calorie burn and weight loss.

      Hi hon! Thanks for checking up on me :) Didn't do too well this month for food or exercise (no weight loos but stable), but I'm starting to get a hold on the stress and the insomnia, so yay! How about you? How are you doing?

      I'm going through some really though times with my family. Couldn't talk about it at first... my baby brother, 19yo, has been arrested on some very serious charges. It came as a huge shock since we are a very reserved family with no problems and what he is accused of is totally out of character for him. We are all depressed, angry and stressed out, but we are trying to deal with our emotions and be there for the family and for my brother which is not always easy.

      But I try to stay positive and I think 'we are lucky in our misfortune', as my grand-ma used to say, because we have tons of friends around us that want to help us. All the community has expressed their sympathy. (My parents live in a small village, although I moved out to a bigger town an hour away). I try to be grateful for all the good things otherwise I'm overwhelmed by the bad!

      I purchased bottles from WalMart each one is your daily 8 8oz. It's helps a lot. I also made myself the rule nothing sweet and icky that I have to wash out.

      I'm in Western North Carolina foothills! It's 10:40pm. Weather today was lovely, about 80 and breezy with a threat of thunderstorms but nothing happened! LOVE Spring in the Foothills :D

      I'm in Kentucky and it is 7:28am. Today is suppose to be around 79 and partly cloudy. Yesterday was a bit color in the 60's. Spring and fall are my favorite times of the year too :)

      Woohoo!!! Congrats! I didn't eat enough calories but I DID stay under on my sugar and my carbs! I have to find that balance point of getting enough to eat and keeping it all healthy

      nice! what's your preferred media? oil, tempera, chalk pastel, conte crayon, etc.? I just draw because I don't have any formal training in painting. I've wanted to get into painting but supplies are SO expensive.

      that's awesome :) i think a lot of times just actively doing something in response to a bad habit lifts a person's spirits....replacing the habit with something positive rather than just trying not to do the old habit.

    @Library Card Thanks :) After I left you a message my brother called me and we talked for over an hour. We only talked about how he was feeling and I put my feelings aside to help him and reassure him. By the time we were done on the phone one of my friends freed herself and came over to talk and play video games. I'm still stressed out (didn't sleep well either) but at least I'm not as sad anymore.

      I'm also a fan of Grimm and Fringe :) Also Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, House, etc. And I love old time rpgs, like Chronos Trigger, final fantasy, etc. Haven't really had a chance to get to know newer games, not much time to play in the last years, but I do love little big planet on the PS3 and Okami on the Wii. I'll take a look at your sites :) As for music, I love metal and rock, or pretty much anything as long as it is not country or rap.

      That's a good idea - to talk back to the negative voice. Hard to do at first though, but I guess it will become easier with time. Not a bad idea to make a challenge out of it. I need to learn to pray more too - I'm very new to faith and religion and it's not always my first reflex, although it is calming and reassuring.

      just getting into online rpg type games--regular video games give me motion sickness so the ones that are more about puzzles, logic etc. without a lot of motion are my preference. I used to like Silent Hill but it was someone else's game/game system so haven't been able to do that.

      and prayer actually isn't always a long time believer's first response, either. I think most people (including myself) have a tendency to try to fix things first and then when that doesn't work out we finally get around to God.

      Yeah, all my family is having a hard time dealing with our current situation, so I feel I need to be the calm, tough one for them. I'm every one's best friend and psychologist, so in return I feel I can't really go to them with my fears and sadness or I'll undo the good I did calming and reassuring them. My boyfriend and my friends help me a lot, but they can't always be there so sometimes it's harder.

      Oh heavens! JUST saw this post! We are kindred spirits, my dear :) I too tend to be the 'cheerleader' and psychologist!! It's SOOOO tiring though! Especially when the advice given is completely ignored and you can SEE the same thing happening over and over... And I too feel the same
