    Anyone have any good exercises for lower abs? I have what I call a little bit of what I call a "pooch" on my lower abs. It's small but I would looove to get rid of it so, any fast ways to get rid of a lower ab "pooch"

    Does anyone have any good exercises I can do in the pool? Recently moved to a house with a pool and thought it would be a fun/smart idea to use it as an exercise tool.:)

    There is something called a "hip flexor stretch", which gets rid of that little "pooch" some people have on their lower belly. Even if you are very fit you can still have this little "pooch" due to tight hip flexor muscles. This stretch loosens them up brings your hips back to where they should be! I love it and it actually works! Good luck everyone and stay strong!!

      Please be aware that you cannot target specific areas to lose body fat from. Your body is genetically designed a specific way. Doing extra ab work alone will NOT remove the pooch. In fact, it will likely make it bigger because you will build muscle under the fat. I have noticed that cutting back on sugar and "bad carbs" helps with that area first. Good luck!!

      Try planks, but keep your feet about shoulder width apart when you do them. I found that doing them that way really gets your lower abs. Also, try working on holding your plank for at least a couple minutes

      You should know that it is impossible to "spot reduce" body fat. The only way to lose belly fat is with a calorie deficit, regardless of the which body parts you exercises. However, targeting (for example) abs with resistance or weight training can prevent the loss of muscle in that area.

      So while you won't be able to specifically lose belly fat, ab workouts can get result in you having more defined abs once the weight is off. That being said, I personally love hanging knee raises ( http://tinyurl.com/las64lm ) and, of course, squats.

      Just swimming is amazing, although my personal favorite is to play catch in the deep end of a pool... you don't feel like you're exercising until you suddenly realize you've been treading water for 45+ minutes

      You can get a flotation device that straps around your waist, which allows you to do water jogging/aerobics. the floater holds you upright and make arm and leg motions as if you're running in the water while floating.

      How do you do that stretch? My hips are really tight, and I have that little pooch even tho I eat right and work out. What's frustrating is that it's all muscle, so it should be flat.

      I know exactly how u feel. It's sort of like a lung. If you google "hip flexor stretch" it should come up or "hip flexor stretch video".

      When u get that pooch it's called an "anterior pelvic tilt" or "swayback"

      I just go to record exercise then I type in 30 day shred level 3 and it just goes in. But I guess it would be circuit training!

      30 day shred is an awesome workout, is tuff at first but I like that is only 30 min or so and you get alot done, good luck, peace and love :-)

      When you log in, look way up at the top of the page. On the right. Your name will be in blue. Immediately next to that it says Settings. Click on that word. The very next page that comes up will have a big orange button up on the left right next to your current pic. Click that. Then you have to select your pic and upload it. Good luck!

      Try logging in through an internet browser (IE, firefox, etc) on a regular computer. There are a lot more options than on a phone.

      Click on Settings at the top right of the page, and there is an orange button up on the left that says Change Picture. Click that, select the pic you want from your computer, and viola! A whole new YOU. :-)
