    I recently flew on a 16 - 17 hour flight (i.e. 3 takeoffs/landings), coupled with a 5 - 6 hour layover, and I ate too much airplane food and got no exercise. As a result, I suffered major jet lag this past week, but the good news is that I've restarted my exercise program, and I'm getting back on the healthy eating/fitness track. (smile)

    Never rely totally on the scale; I ate too much food one day and could have sworn I gained weight, but when I weighed in the next day, to my surprise I loss 2 lbs. GO FIGURE!!!

    Completed days 3 & 4 of the East Africa Mountain Challenge. I ran tons of miles and burned loads of calories. I lost 3 - 4 lbs. from the Challenge.

    I just completed day two of the East Africa Mountain Challenge in Ethiopia: Hash runners from Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania are running/walking/climbing three mountains and three lakes in four days. My legs were aching by the time I reached the top of the mountain. It's been a lot of fun, and I've burnt a ton of calories.
