    Got my numbers done at my gym: Took me almost a year, but I've reached my bodyweight/composition goals. I am 150 pounds, 17% bodyfat, and my measurements are right where they should be! Mission accomplished!!!!

    Been going to Crossfit for almost 8 months now. Lost 20 pounds, went from 30% bodyfat to 23%. Can do pullups now. Have ab muscles that are visible to the human eye. Signed up for my first 5k in April.

    I've been doing Crossfit and it is AWESOME! I've been going for five months, have lost 9 pounds and TEN INCHES! Feeling energized, strong, and having tons of fun. Cannot recommend it enough!

    I'm back from a loooooong and fun, but terrible-for-my-diet vacation. Looking forward to eating for one again. Looking forward to having a vegetable. Had fun, but I'm glad to be back!

    I went on vacation for five days with every intention of eating well and exercising. Turns out that when it's hot and I'm at the lake I have NO self discipline. I didn't even brush my teeth very regularly. Gross. Back on today! Feel good!

    Traveled to my parent's for the weekend to help them with a sale. Have been eating like they eat which is to say lots of crappy food and too much wine. Woke up this morning with a food hangover. Can't wait to get back on track this week.

    Down one pound this morning! Down three pounds altogether. Doesn't sound like much, but I'm thinking of it as sticks of butter. I've lost 12 sticks of butter!

    I think I'm going to avoid the scale for a month or two. I feel like I'm doing good and then I get on and get so discouraged it ruins me mentally for at least a day. People used to tell me losing weight in my forties would be a nightmare and I never believed them...

    @Sarah Keep tracking! Wherever you are, know yourself, love yourself, nurture yourself (not weigh yourself in any sense). I have just had a horrible bounce-back after a few days of being to busy to care for myself, so I am following the same advice, just head down, be good, it will show eventually, Jo

      Hot weather makes us a bit weaker, plus it seems like the increase in sunlight makes me feel happier, so I'm more likely to accept how I look. But then again...nothing feels as good as coming back from a walk/run/workout and being super sweaty!

    @Sarah The event went well, despite the cold, wind and wet. I must have shivered lots of calories. I hope so, because I couldn't resist delicious home-baked cakes (as well as cookies I baked), so carbs way over the limit today. I doubt I will be perfect tomorrow, but at least, I hope, better than today. Hope your day worked for you, Jo.

      Glad your even went well. I have often wondered how many calories shivering burns, lol. I got up this morning, had a small bowl of oatmeal, and then exercised. I am feeling better already.

      I know what you mean by food hangover, too much salt, fat, sugar, additives = quadruple whammy ... and that does affect me more than a little too much alcohol. Veges make me merry.

    @Sarah Hi Sarah, please post some news, you have been quiet for a while. My news is that tomorrow I am event manager for a small croquet event, also playing in the event, and doing some baking to share, and rain and wind expected, so I will be over-stressed and over-tired, cold, too busy to eat right --- unless I plan carefully today. But I will allow myself four cookies!!!!!!!! on top of regular diet, and a glass of wine if the day was all too much, Jo
