I have to consciously make myself stay off the scale everyday because logically my weight will fluctuate from one day to the next. Yes, I know that intellectually but it's a killer emotionally. Last week my diet was spot on & my workouts were awesome but every-time I stepped on the scale. Nothing!! :( I weighed Monday morning, Shazam! 5lbs down!! I'm just saying, don't be a slave to your scale because it's not always the best at showing your true progress. Dedication = progress! Period!

I really love this app! It so helps me keep my caloric intake in check, track my workouts and it allows me hold myself accountable to me! I'm so glad I found it. Over the last year I lost 83 lbs but recently put 15lbs back on and was totally slacking in all areas needed for continued success. This Saturday I'm running my very 1st 5k!! So excited!! Mark that off my bucket list & set a new goal!! :D

SO true! I usually take measurements in several places, and only weigh in/measure myself once a week to see the overall progress. Especially if you are increasing muscle - the scale is NOT your friend when you are weight training. Inches around the middle, though? That's where the proof is. Watching the scale is like watching the stock market!!! It'll drive you crazy to see it everyday. It's the overall progress that matters.

The most accurate source to show true progress= measuring. ^

First of all, keep a routine. I weigh myself everyday. I only do it completely undressed, after going to the bathroom, and before I eat anything. No exceptions. If I had a bad day before where I had a cheat meal or something, I DO NOT weigh. I want to save myself from beating myself up about it. Also do not weigh yourself during your time of the month! I am almost always 3-5 lbs heavier that week! Stupid! But yes, measuring is the best way to go.

@Sgsl69 I hope this isn't too forward. I saw you on someone else's leaderboard, and was inspired by your profile and previous success.
