    Does anybody have any tips for weight loss, and avoiding sweets? The chocolate in the snack drawer is calling my name... I was raised on organic and paleo foods, but I'm lacking motivation.

      This assumes you are in control of what foods are in your home, if you are not ignore this comment. I do our shopping and there is a list of foods I cannot buy because I will eat them without full control. Don't have sweets in the house, if you're craving that badly go down the shop and buy some. Also digging the Kickass reference in your user :)

      Whenever you want something "junky" try substituting it with a veggie like baby carrots or celery. Not only are they healthy but they have a crunch factor, so they satisfy a craving to snack on something. I've lost about 8 pounds by doing this, so it's worth trying!

      If you fill up on good stuff. You will be full. Also if you don't eat unhealthy food you won't crave it.

      Control your environment before it controls you! Meaning....get rid of all the unhealthy temptations in the house, at work, in the car, etc!!
