    The next couple weeks are going to be rough on my exercise routine. I'm working 11 hours for five days a week and 8 hours on saturdays for the next two weeks. After that I can get back to normal. I guess I'll be doing some quick pilates before work and watching what I eat. :)

    I'm not usually one to turn my nose up at veggies, but I just had kale for the first time in a salad today. Yuck!!!!! I think I will stick to turning it into kale chips. I love my leafy greens, but I don't love that leafy green.

    I really need some moral support. I've struggled with an eating disorder since high school, and I've gotten a lot better about it. Today I'm kind of struggling with it. I want to treat my body right, and starving myself and being hyper focussed on dieting is not treating myself right.

    Almost landed myself in the hospital last weekend because of an allergic reaction. I went to the doctor today, and as it turns out, there is a gluten allergy along with intolerances and celiacs. I had no idea! I'm getting tested for wheat and gluten allergies on the 30th. If it's an allergy, I'm kind of hoping for a wheat allergy instead of gluten because I could have rye, barley, oats, and spelt that way.

    Went to my favorite place for wings yesterday, and instead of wings and fries I got a salad because it wasn't my cheat day. For a place that is known for wings and burgers, they have a really good salad. They automatically put the dressing on the side, croutons are optional, and it comes with tomato wedges, sunflower seeds, and mixed greens instead of iceburg lettuce. They don't go crazy with the cheese either.

    I'm reverting back to when I was five and having peanut butter and banana on a rice cake. Its still yummy and great for after a workout.

    Found out I had to go out to eat for dinner, and still kept everything in the green! I plan on really earning my cheat meal this weekend. :)

    My goal is to make it to the gym five days this week! It was my goal last week, but life got busy. So now I'm going to make myself add those two extra days a week. I also shaved a minute and a half off my mile! I don't know If I can do that again, but it's worth a try!!

    I don't how many of y'all have a mellow mushroom near you, but if you're looking for a good cheat meal and you're gluten free, I just found out they have a bunch of different gluten free pizzas including a white pizza. The best part is they're 12 inch pizzas so they're big enough to share or take home for leftovers. :)

    Ugh. I think I got something with gluten in it last night. I was completely miserable. I ended up just going to bed at 8:00, and I still have a small headache this morning. I guess I'm going to be reading the ingredients on everything I ate yesterday so I know what I can't have.

    I just found my new favorite lunch for when I go eat out. Panera has a new salad that's really yummy. It's got shrimp, baby spinach, and a really light sesame peanut sauce. It comes with soba noodles on it, but you can ask them to hold those. Put it with an apple and you have really good lunch.

    I let myself have a small cup of ice cream last night. My tummy wasn't happy with me afterward, but I got salted caramel flavor so it was worth it. I was really proud of myself because I ate half and gave the other half to my sister. :)

    I've been doing pilates off an app on my phone on the days I don't get to the gym. There are musles aching in places I didn't know I had muscles. Now I see why pilates works. You don't need anything but a carpet or mat, and it still kicks your butt.

    I'm thinking about trying a 5k May 8th, but I haven't actually been out running in a while. I've been doing treadmill, eliptical, and spin class. However, I've been setting the eliptical like I'm going up and down a bunch of big hills, and I've been running on a pretty big incline on the treadmill.

    Found my new favorite healthy snack. I am a bit addicted to kind bars. I was worried I was putting a bunch of chemicals in my body with them, but when I read the ingredients list, it was all stuff like coconut shavings, almonds, honey, and puffed up rice. I've been having trouble getting enough calories in and these are great :)

      Me too! My friend finally got me to try out a class with her and I'm completely addicted now. It doesn't even feel like an hour of cardio, but you burn a bunch of calories:)

      I don't understand how something that tastes so good baked and covered in spices can be so gross on its own. Raw kale is like cruel and unusual punishment.

      I roast it in a pan with garlic, olive oil and tomatoes. Only way I will eat it unless it's in a shake!

      That's really tough. I'm sorry that you are struggling today. I have a friend that struggles with this too. There is a national eating disorder association and they have a hotline where you can call and get support. Confidential Helpline at 1-800-931-2237. They are open Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time. They have helpline volunteers to offer support and guidance with compassion and understanding.

      It seems like u have been doin a great job at keeping itself healthy since u have been posting, keep it up dnt look back just keep pushing forward and u will get to that place u want to be. It will be so difficult but once u get there I'll feel that it was so worth it and I'll feel very accomplishes because it was a difficult place to get but u made it!!!!!!

      One way to work on this might be to set healthy goals for protein, fat, carbs, calories, etc., and then use the bars in both directions - in other words, don't go over them, but equally important try not to be under them too. Create healtlhy eating for yourself by considering each of the main bars as a goal to get as close to the target as possible.

      I'm SO sorry to hear that you were not feeling well. My stepdad had celiacs and it was a fairly rough adjustment for him at first. There are so many gluten free options now that it's easier, but still. I hope for wheat for you, too! Feel better!

      Speaking of Panera....did you know they have a HIDDEN menu? Crazy, I know! There are 6 or 7 things on it that are the "health conscious", high protein and low carb. Google it!!

      It was great! I'm lactose intolerant, but I can handle a little bit of dairy every once in a while. The affects get worse after a while if I have too much, so I hadn't had ice cream for a very long time. The ice cream as my weekly treat was so worth the stomach ache.

      I changed mine in settings. I think you just have to upload a new pic. And I'm usually shy about working out in front of people too, but then I figured everyone else in the class was probably shy at some point, too.

      Ya. It is a little easier. But I've been keeping the incline anywhere from 6 to 9 so I still have to work. I just don't do well with cold weather. Lol
