    I just blew it and went over my sugar for the day..who knew pineapple (fresh) had so much sugar...I guess maybe checking first then eating will be better..

    I joined up before new year to get the hang of it but I am inspired and excited to meet my goals! The goal is to get back to my weight in my profile pic...40 pounds to go!!!! I wish everyone health and happiness in the new year! We can do this!!!

      SlikKicker has some weird diet biases. Maybe the developers are Paleo. I sort of shrugged it off when I realized SK gives more value to oatmeal than a plain baked sweet potato, and that SK gives no "points" for healthy vegan protein choices. As far as sugar, it seems impossible to eat the daily recommended amount of fruit without going over the sugar amount.

      I agree..I thought sugar from a fruit wouldn't be a bad sugar..ah o well lol ill make up for it..it just seemed like a lot of sugar points

      The bias is that SK doesn't distinguish between added sugar and naturally occurring sugar in whole foods. Mainstream recommendations wrt limiting sugar intake target added, not naturally occurring sugars.

      I never worry about going over the sugar if I know I've eaten healthy sources of it, as long as you keep your calories low overall

      I agree..i was under my daily calories yesterday so im happy..baby steps for me!!!
