    Well I'm back.I haven't been on for a while or counted my calories since but I actually lost a pound by doing nothing. Also on Monday I will get back on and count my calories :)

    I'm thinking of doing a water/tea fast where that's all I eat/drink for a day. I'm only doing tea so I get some type if calorie since this is my first fast ever

      Fasting gets really hard. Especially when there's food everywhere, I usually stick to just water for a day or more for my fasts

      I lost 23 pounds on the "1200 calorie" diet - eating only that every day, and doing some kind of cardio to burn off any excess. It's been slow going recently - that count is cumulative from September. But at first it worked so fast, and that inspired me to keep working at it. Good luck!

      detox. I did a juice detox after thanksgiving. I have a juicer and I drank 2 vegetable and fruit juices a day a big salad for 10 days. And lost 12 in that 10 days. I now continue to juice every day, 1 or 2 times a day and eat fresh, whole foods. I have lost 20 pounds so far since the detox. Good luck to you in whatever method you use.

      Are you getting enough protein and healthy fats? Sometimes that happens to me when I do too much fat free type ingredients. Try a small handful of almonds or even a slice of fat free turkey breast sandwiched between thin cucumber slices.

      No worries! I find I lose the most weight when I have a bad day and then I'm good for several days. I had a chocolate attack on Monday and ate a bunch of junk but was good the rest of the week and still lost 2 lbs. Don't beat yourself up :)

      it happens! sometimes you're just really hungry. as long as you don't eat like that all the time, a cheat meal (or day, ha) isn't going to hurt you. like crystal said, don't beat yourself up about it :) just move on and eat healthy the next day!

      Yup! I have a cheat meal every Saturday, and it helps keep me on track. It's ok to veer from the dieting strait and narrow sometimes. Just not all the time.
