    I'm proud of myself I woke up this week every day at 5:00 AM, got ready and hit the gym. Then went to work I feel a bit sore but the satisfaction I feel is priceless :)

    Feeling GREAT!! I woke up at 5:00AM even though I slept late yesterday, went to my spinning class and had a healthy breakfast, Also my mood is very cheerful, have a happy week everyone and don't let one mistake pull you down, get up and Keep Moving Forward!!

    Today I received a great tip, have my goals in my bathroom mirror, that way I can see them everyday and make sure I eat healthy and exercise. What do you do to make sure you don't forget your goals?

    January it's completely over, on my recap I went to the gym 21 days out of the 31 of the month, which beats my lifetime record of working out :)...I think I am in the right track.

    Does anyone know what can I eat after the gym? Due to my schedule I go to the gym after work, which is around 6-7pm, when I come home I get sooo hungry, but it is kind of late so I don't know what to eat..btw I try to eat a granola bar before my workout..but even with that I get hungry...

      keep it up! Whats helped me with food is having healthy pre-prepared meals ready to go at any time either in the fridge or the freezer. Atleast for me, I get tempted to eat poorly or to go out and binge when I dont have anything readily available at home.

      I would suggest eliminating as much temptation as possible from home & work. Bag up some veggies in the little snack size ziplock so you can grab-n-go, and plan out your meals several days in advance. Most importantly stay fixated on your goals!!

      I try and work out six days a week. So just consider that your off day! And getting up and always counts for something!

      Fruit and veggies. I usually have an apple or some grapes. Celery sticks or carrots.

      I have heard that chocholate milk is the perfect after work out snack - and not alot of it... Max 8 oz. Its has the protein in it to help build muscle, and it tastes great and calms your stomach!

      I use a Heart Rate Monitor, the one that I am using currently is the Polar FT4, This thing does a lot of things, and tells you how many calories you burn per workout, it also monitors your heart rate (that is it's main function) this is very important in order to optimize your work out!! I have a review and how to use here if you want to go and check it out I mainly do spinning, but yesterday I did 40 min of elliptical machine, 60 abs, and 10 wall squats.

      Make small changes at first. It can be overwhelming to go "cold turkey". Do you have a time of day that is particularly challenging? Focus on that & make a plan for physically removing yourself from the temptations or doing something with your hands so they are too busy to grab at food. You can do it!! Stay positive.

      Yes, my hardest times to resist cravings are during 3:00 pm at work (mostly all my co-workers get snacks) and at nights I always crave sweets. Thanks for your comment!! I will have to find something to keep me busy @ that time.
