    guys I need motivation to exercise.. I just want to lie around and look at myself in the mirror expecting to BOOM! see abs right before my eyes. My overwhelming eating is not helping either aghhh!!

    I recently quit smoking and I find myself eating nonstop. also, my motivation to exercise is slowly drifting away from me. AHH!!

      I use my Facebook to be accountable. I post what I'm going to do and then I feel like I have to do it because I have friends ask how it went. Just completed my 2012 goal of 371 mile for the year today. And all because I kept reporting to my friends that I was going to do it then having to follow through.

      Have you joined any challenges? Maybe look at the list and see if there are any that you would be able to slip into your schedule and every time you look in the mirror do some squats or wall pushups. Work your way down to the floor for some real pushups. Maybe even some planks. All good for the core.

      Congratulations on quitting smoking! It's common for your appetite to increase when you quit (nicotine is an appetite suppressant). Try to keep healthy foods on hand to snack on. Best of luck!

      You can chew sugarless gum. You might want to try making a list of why you're quitting and carry it with you.

      How about if you do an exercise in place of smoking when you crave or think about a cig? 10 jumping jacks or crunches or wall pushups or squats. Yes keep more healthy things handy but the extra activity will also counteract the calories.
