This is day 7 on Medifast. I'm still OP so that's inspirational! Can't say I've "kicked my urges" to the curb, but I'm controlling my response to past habits.

@Gaelyn Good luck! How far into the program (Medifast) are you?

Kmwhite0913 --Thanks!! I officially started this last Monday, but actually dabbled in eating the meals the Sat and Sun before. I've lost maybe 2-3 lbs. I'm 5'2" and weighed 176 and going up. I tried the HCG two years ago and got down to 142, but could not stabalize and then rocketed up to 176 which is the highest I've been in many years. I hope Medifast works better and reduces the odds of yo-yoing. What about your experiences?

I started last Monday, too. I'm down 5-6 pounds. I'm 5' 7" and have maintained 230-240 for the past several years and I don't want to be. I'd been 155 before kids and was happy with that. I'd be thrilled to get down below 200 right now! That's the first marker!! I haven't really ever done anything for long. I'm hoping to keep my commitment to this. I'm a foodie and LOVE good flavor so I'm thrilled we get a "real" meal once a day. Weekend is hard. Best of luck for a great week!

Kudos to you!!! Changing those bad habits is definitely a process! Stay focused on WHY you started this journey in the first place. You got this!!

THANKS for the encouragment. One additional question. I'm now day 13 on the plan and not only was I not losing for a few days, but gained a pound. No ovaries left to blame. Blood pressure has been a new issue (the week before going on medifast) and I think it's resolving now. Weight is FINALLY on the way down again in the last two days. Down a total of 6.8 in the 13 Medifast days. Is there anything I need to be concerned about? Or just stay the course?
