    Another 30 mile day on my bike. I wish I were able to get pictures that would give justice to the hills I have been riding. I was offered a ride for the last 3 miles, my body screamed take it but my mind said keep the pride!

    During my bike trip to Dolores I stopped where my husband was working delivered some lunch. Then they detoured me for road construction. The next time this happens to you think of the person riding a bicycle or should I say walking it because they sent them into a canyon and I had to go straight up. When I made it to Dolores I was at 22.44 miles when I got home with no detour it was 34.30 miles so how long was the straight up I will let someone who is not as tired as I am answer that please.

    I have a fun challenge. I received an email from my boss stating that I had to take 145 Hours off for vacation, so I do not get to go back to work until May 30!! Yeah yeah I know you feel my pain. LOL. I am slightly a workaholic. Now can I spend the next month on me and see how much exercise I can do without making excuses?

    Apparently I am married to a jerk. He will take things off my plate and say you don't need that and then start telling me I am just getting fatter and fatter. He brought home 3 fresh fish the other day and I ate one with nothing else and practically nothing the while day and he got started again. Later he tells me does it because he loves me. I am saying Bull S^%#!!!!

    It has been to windy for me to go bike riding, well that is the excuse I let myself use. I know that when I make my goal of going across America windy or not I will have to continue riding.

    22.61 miles on my bike in 2 hrs and 51 mins but not done all at once. So now to sit back and see if my burn goes to peeling or tan on my arms.

    Got up this morning and had to start my day right away. Now I am riding my bike to work and won't get off until 8 pm. It is now 3:30 and I realized I have had nothing but my Body Balance and my TruBoost and coffee, so I guess I will have to stop and get something somewhere.

    my first 30 mile bike ride today and getting ready to run back to town for a plumbing piece that would be another 4 miles do I dare try and do it or let myself relax. The main reason I question myself is that I live in a very hilly part of the country.(Colorado)

    I just put in Lifeway Organic Kefir which is full of probiotics and as far as I have seen is very beneficial health wise so is there a way to get it more than just 1 point?

    I heard a story on the radio about a man added weight in muscle. His motivation was that he made a bet with a friend. Whoever lost had to wear a penguin suit for a day. Is there anyone out there that is willing to make some kind of bet with me that we can do over the internet???

      Wow. I don't know y'all personally, but it doesn't sound like he is being supportive in a positive way. Have you tried sitting down with him and talking to him about how it makes you feel when he does stuff like that? He needs to support you and help you stay on track, but he also needs to love and accept you the way you are while you are in the middle of making those healthy changes in your life. There needs to be a balance.

      He needs to learn some communication skilles, e.g. how to motivate without being an a$$h0le, and he needs to learn about nutrition for weight loss. I'm sure he has 8 pack abs LOL but he needs to be instructed that you need to eat enough to allow you to lose weight. Don't tell me he cooks for you two and then tells you what to eat and not eat.

      Thanks everyone. It is so amazing to find support. I know that he wants to but he just can't for his own personal issues that he needs to overcome. I think most of it is that it is easier for him to focus out instead of in. Thanks Tommie for adding us to your prayers.

      I used to do that (and still am tempted to!) but I find that if I consistently force myself to record the bad food, I start thinking about how I won't want to record it before I eat it. Which (sometimes!) stops me.

      I would maybe try to count it as lifting weights. If you are looking for a more specific calorie burn, try MyFitnessPal or even just google it.

      I would choose your level by intensity and not speed. Slow could be "light", fast could be "intense". That's what I do since I do a lot of mountain biking and on a technical trail 11mph average could be very intense.

      Some of the points are SO arbitrary. Oatmeal with sweetened almond milk is 12 points, but a baked sweet potato with fresh ground organic almond butter is 2 points. Tempeh is 12 points, but organic tofu is 1. Funny.
