10 days of backpacking across Indo-China! Challenge now is how to still stay in shape because I can foresee myself trying to taste/eat everything new (well, as long as there's no meat in it). :|

When's the best time to measure weight?
Really not an ideal thing to do. Coming home late from a birthday party (w/ lots of alcohol), didn't sleep and went on with tennis and then afterwards ran in the gym with some weight training as well. It's like I have so much energy. :|

Back here after like I don't know, 3weeks to a month off. Setting goals for end of September beach trip!
Can't wait to run and get back to the gym! Who knew boxing plus swimming on the same day then a 5K run the next day would kill my legs? :|
Intense day. Boxing then swimming. Hopefully I can still move for tomorrow's run on the treadmill. Haha.
Today's supposed to be my rest day from the gym as I've been running 5K aggressively (increased speed) for 2 straight days, but dang. The yogurt and salad didn't work well for me. I ate 2pcs of chocolate and half a pack of M&M's. :(
When I was in my early stages at SlimKicker, I religiously logged ALL if not most of the food I eat/drink. Now I just log in my exercises as I know I've been eating healthy. :D (The No Junk Food and Replace Juice with Tea challenges were the real deal for me.)
Nice to be back. Those few weeks are the most depressing ones. Did exercise but didn't log anything. Oh well. :)
Went to the gym twice - 11am and 11pm hahaha my friend and I literally closed the gym. Ran my fastest 5K in the treadmill on my evening run (well my 2nd fastest was the morning run haha). Feels great to be moving again!
Happy Father's Day!!! This means... Everyone will eat like it's last supper.
My saturday: woke up with a hangover, forced myself to eat, then ran 5K in the gym and worked on my core. Now not feeling as much guilt for drinking! But i should really stop drinking alcohol :|
Hmmm. That grilled watermelon steak at the vegetarian resto was amazing. Gaaaah.
Those Golden Oreos have golden calories and sugar as well. The only way I can think of removing them from my sight is to eat them.
Hmmm. Nike Training Camp (app) is good.
Overall a good day (it's 1:11am here)! No caffeine intake, was able to run again, loaded on protein (beans, soy milk, chilled soy pudding), and resisted junk food! I've been really conscious of my food intake (no junk) ever since I joined SlimKicker.
My overdue reward: finally bought myself trekking sandals!
Lifting dumbbells while waiting for my report to finish updating itself haha.
Hello, world! Back from the wonderful Calaguas Island. And in other news... SlimKicker has a twitter account. :p
No internet (no check-ins and tracking!) for 3 days. Off to a remote island! Survivor mode.
Marshmallow chocolate. 21% more.
I'm sure all that walking will help with burning any extra calories.
Wow, I wanna do that :)
Ok, I'm jealous. If you're backpacking every day, you'll burn a ton of calories.
First thing in the morning, after you hit the bathroom and before you eat or drink anything. It provides the most consistent weight from day to day and doesn't include excess water.
Also, remember clothing adds weight too. If ur wearing light stuff like a tank top and shorts, you should only take a half a pound to a pound off. If ur wearing jeans or a heavy sweatshirt, it could add up to 2 pounds
Just after you've landed on the moon's surface. Or, first thing in the morning works pretty good, too!
Consistency! Best = morning, post bathroom, pre-food, nude. As long as you are consistent in your times/methods of measurement. If you are on shift work, morning = whenever you wake up.
Thanks, everyone. :)
That's awesome! Changing one's eating habits is no easy feat, and it's great that you were able to.
That's great! I still log nearly every bite, but I know that I'm making healthier choices overall. Portion control is something that is improving for me.
:) Good job :)
At least you got out there. good job!
That's awesome! Great job!!
That is way better them what I do when I'm hung over!
Don't do it Lucy!!! lmao
hehhehe :) Noooooo lol
If you want to avoid a temptation food I think the best thing to do is toss them straight in the bin! You won't want to eat them afterwards and it feels so great physically overcoming temptation. :)
Give em to your neighbor.
I'm with Grizzled, I hate throwing things away so I share them to get rid of them and don't buy them again after that
Is it free???
Hi SarahV, yup it's free! :)
@GrizzledAtoms Hey GrizzledAtoms! How many liters are you planning to buy for your backpack? :)
I'm getting the Kelty Red Cloud 110. My son has one and it's perfect for extended trips.
great way to use that time waiting , that is exactly what I do when I am taking a 10 min break from my computer
great idea!! :)
