As soon as I have room in my challenges I'm joining the no junk food challenge! I'm giving up ... organic muesli bars? Yeah, I don't eat junk but they're my vice food and they're packed with sugar, so I say 'so long suckers' :)

Did you know that when I first started on SK I could only do 4 full pushups? Today I did 4 sets of 10!! If at first you fail, try and try again.

Failed most of my challenges today ... got really sick all of a sudden! But I guess that's all part of the fun - dealing with the setbacks. :)

Havin a panic attack! I just accidentally ate an 800 calorie lunch (got my serving sizes for pasta mixed up)!! I now only have 60 calories left for dinner! I'll do an extra big work out to make up for it, but any mega low calorie dinner ideas? Thanks!

How often does everybody weigh in? I have this strange need to weigh myself every day even though daily fluctuations often disappoint - you sometimes think you've gained when you really haven't. Tips, anyone? :)

I would be devastated if this happened to me, I am so addicted, so I offer much sympathy. Anyone who said "It's only a game" doesn't know football or baseball. You can do your tracking of foods eaten for previous days as well as today, I think, so collect your well-deserved points for this, Jo

Yes just log your exercise and when u log it there is a date button that you can change before you submit-I actually just did that before I started reading the inspiration board:)

i'm still trying to figure out my gluten. did 3 wks without it. then had one day of biscuits, etc and can't fully tell if i need to be gluten-free or not. props for that long a commitment. hope the regular oats agree with you

Well I seem to be ok :) That's the problem with coeliac/gluten sensitivity - it sometimes doesn't even have symptoms and everyone reacts differently! You can always go to the doctor and get either a blood test (not so reliable but easier) or a biopsy, but of course you have to be eating gluten regularly for those tests to work. Best of luck figuring it out!!

Don't panic. It's one day and one day of going over on calories isn't going to derail you. This is a long-term thing so as long as you stay the course over the weeks, you'll be in great shape!

I weigh every morning almost out of habit now. I know that there will be fluctuations but I throw out the big ups. For me, it's good to know about the ups and downs and after a while you get used to them. If you can't stand to see that then I would weigh yourself once every two weeks and do three mornings in a row.

      kassanovella2919 days ago

I weigh in once a week. Don't like daily fluctuations, like to see bigger drops :)

      JMAHudson2919 days ago

I don't weigh often, in part because my goal is about being smaller, not lighter (muscle etc). But my partner weighs daily, and lost 30 pounds in 5 months--it helped him see a correlation between certain behaviors and his weight. When you do a less-frequent weigh-in, I think it is MUCH easier to stray, because you're thinking "big-picture" and sometimes that means not actually valuing all the little daily actions that add up.

Once a week, at the same hour is very recommended.
