changing food quantities

If I ate three eggs for breakfast and added it to my food log, and then later forgot that I actually ate four eggs, it would be nice to be able to click on that food in my log and change it from there. It seems I have to delete and re-enter the food each time I want to change the quantity.

    Unless I'm missing something.

I agree with this. This is a big difference between this site and other nutrition sites I used in the past, and very annoying. Often I enter stuff I plan to eat to see how the stats add up but later I delete or change the amounts to what I actually ate.

Hey guys, sorry to say that you can only delete. We thought it wouldn't be a big deal but turns out we're wrong. We'll see what we can do this week, thanks for the recommendation!

Alright good news is that we quickly implemented this. We're going to test this internally, then maybe push it out in a day or 2 :)

It's also not calculating when you ate more than one serving. I input that I ate 1.5 but input the serving size of what I ate as 1 serving and it did not automatically calculate the calories and counts of the food. Would be nice if it did.

you have to hit "update changes" - at least on the iphone app. If you don't hit "update" and just hit "submit" it doesn't save your changed quantity.

By the way, I think it's great you guys are so responsive. Being able to change a food entry is a huge deal....especially when you're trying to learn a new app. I like where this is going though!

Thanks admin! Although there are still a few kinks to work out, this is by far the most fun website I used up to now for food tracking and exercise. I tried many and I can say that this free site is already better than a few of the payed sites I tried. Keep up the good work!

Hey guys, we just added the ability to edit the food entry (only for the website).

We're also planning an iPhone app update in 2-3 weeks. We already implemented creating routines, and recipes. We're gonna fine-tune the basic logging functionalities before pushing the update to the App Store.
