    Hi! Has anyone lost 30 lbs using this app? I lost 5lbs since January 22nd 2013. I still have 30 more to go... Anyone that has an inspiring story please share it. I am trying my best to stay under 60g of carbs a day. I am taking spin classes and things look good. My current weight is 182lbs.

      I have lost over 12 pounds in 3 weeks using this app as a reference point but following a very strict no carbs diet. I have introduced some fruit which i think is needed. I have also cut out all alcohol during the week and switched from red wine to whiskey/bourbon on weekend social gatherings. I have increased by gym workouts gradually from week one to where i am now on week 3.

      Thank you so much for your reply! Is 60g carbs s day a large intake for 1 day? 12 lbs is a lot of weight to shed! Congrats!! If you ever want to share any daily meal-plans I am here:) Thanks a lot the great motivation! I want so badly to be in the range of 145-150lbs... I indeed work out 5 days a week. Spinning classes for 60 min daily. At the end of February I am adding swimming and step classes:) Thanks!

      60 carbs is a good target for a reasonable diet that will be easier to follow. Many strict low-carb diets cap it lower, at 20 or 30, which is very difficult to do for any length of time but will take pounds off quickly. I have done both but find the very low-carb version too hard on my body and not enough variety of food to provide enough nutrients, so I am happy with the 60-carb version.

      Teresa thank you so much for our kind reply:) I am trying my best to stay in that range and even so, it is indeed like you said: hard. Hopefully I will see some results in after a month and so; I am referring to obvious results... Like 1 size down:) Thanks a lot!

      May I ask if you always had a fast metabolism? I am tall 175cm but it drives me crazy how hard it is to lose wait...I will patiently wait to see how "well" I will do by the end of this month-- following my 40-60 g of carbs diet. Exercising is also part of my routine.. Hopefully I will see some impressive results... Otherwise i am quitting :( Any tips?
