    Went entirely off the rails last week and knew it. Gained 4 lbs back when I was soooooo close to my goal.

    Have now crossed the 40 pounds down mark. I thought 50 was what I needed to lose but the mirror says maybe 20 more not just 10.

    Spent a week on vacation. 100% ignored diet rules but with the amount of swimming I did I had a net 0 lbs gain. Now time to resume real life.

    Hit my short-term pre- vacation weight goal this week. Under 200lbs and down 34 pounds total.

    Had a goal to get under 210 this week. Hit 208. Down 22 pounds since starting. Realizing now how far I have to go.

      Take time to celebrate your huge accomplishment! 40 pounds is no joke - nicely done! Consider breaking the next goal down into 5 pound increments & give your body time to adjust. Your body will continue to change even after you get to "the number" on the scale, so don't rush your decision too quickly. Plus, 5 pounds feels do-able...20 might feel a overwhelming after you've already lost 40!

      Great job - it is hard to lose that much weight so you've really accomplished something!! Since you met your goal, you should feel confidence that you can keep going and get where you want to be next :)
