    I have hit my first milestone. I am under 230 pounds for the first time in probably over 5 years. When you stay off the scale because you don't want to know your weight, it makes it tough to figure out when you went over a certain threshold.

    Went to the store to get some lunch meat for sandwiches. I am amazed at how much I can put on my sandwich, have it be 1 serving, and only 70 calories. I really expected it to be like 1 or 2 slices, not 7.

      My next milestone is 200 pounds. My primary goal is 180, with a possible stretch goal of 160.

    @FoxSpy Thanks for the app, I'll check it out. I weight myself in the morning before breakfast too - not only do I weigh a little less so I can feel good about it, but I find it fluctuates a bit less than if I weigh myself later in the day.

      watch the salt in the lunch meat though...they are usually LOADED with sodium.

      Supposedly green tea ups your metabolism, so that's probably the closest you'll get ;-)

      try celery. Your body burns more calories than it gains from processing it.

      Actually according to Snopes, it's correct. Although you get very little benefit from it as direct negative calories. The real benefit is that it keeps you busy eating celery instead of say Orange Cadbury Eggs.
