I started a 30 day weight loss journal today is day 16. Today I walked 1.59 miles at one time. The most that I had done so far was .6 miles. I dominated the track today. What a great way to start off the second half of the journal.

I am a 568 pound man. I usually hurt so bad when I walk. I am on day 12 of eating better and walking. Finally my body is responding. My normal route is .6 mile one time a day. Today I walked .6 mile early in the morning. Then again at noon. I am not as sore as I normally am so I am thinking about doing it again tonight! Woo Hoo

@Jeremiah Elder Jeremiah, please don't give up. I too am morbidly obese and am discouraged...together we can..alone we cannot.

@Jeremiah Elder SlimKicker is now back up, after being down for the past day. Our web host (Amazon) was having problems, but it's all fixed now. Because of the downtime, for the next 2 days, we're giving away +20 bonus points for every food you log. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Great job! You might be feeling sore now but it's a good kind of sore. Knowing that you are making positive difference for yourself makes the soreness welcome and appreciated.

Well I'll probably start my run around 5, so won't even be done until about 5:50 or 6. So, you'll want to check quite a bit later! LOL

You've already done the hardest part......you've started and committed yourself to being healthier. As you travel your journey, you will indeed begin to feel better both mentally and physically. Set small reachable goals and you will continue to feel motivated. Good luck to you. I know that everyone here at SK is proud of you. :o)

Jeremiah thats fantastic!!! I am a professional slacker and backslider when it comes to slim kicker. But just watching what I eat has made me healthier, I do not wish to go back. Lifestyle changes are challenging but when you have a good support group it really really helps. Best of luck to you.

That's awesome! Like arbereshe said, the hardest part is done, you've started! It will only get easier and better. I'm a bit of slacker myself and need to step it up so I'm in awe of everyone that just does it!

That's fantastic! Good luck to you!! Someone on here posted this youtube video a few weeks back that I found really inspirational. It's of a chap called Arthur and his transformation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qX9FSZJu448 One worth watching on those tougher days!

Great job! Do not over do it though. If you get too sore you may lose interest (or get out of the habit) tomorrow. Best wishes and looking forward to hearing more success stories from you!

You are doing great! Don't get discouraged if you backslide a day or two. Don't quit, just get back to the routine the next day. Just think how much better and stronger you are going to feel a month from now :)

Don't give up! Take it slow and steady. I adore good food and I've never liked exercise. But I cut down on my food and I started exercising anyway. If I can do it, you can do it.
