Has anyone tried intermittent fasting? I saw a Horizon documentary about it and they were saying just cutting back to 500 calories on two days in the week meant people could eat what they wanted the rest of the time and still significantly improve their blood test health stats. Just wondering what people's experiences with this are... How manageable did you find it? I tend to get dizzy when I'm too hungry.

Hmm need to find myself some new fun challenges to do... and maybe stop eating ice cream! Have been terrible with the food logging this last week... ready to get back on it all again :)

So this isn't diet or exercise but it is health related... I just got my eyesight tested because of suffering from optical stress. Seems my problem is highly colour dependent so prescription tinted lens should help hugely i.e. no more migraines! :)

Thanks Shanaynay! Do you eat the 500 calories all in one go on the fast day or space it out?

Hi LazyGirl, doing good on the Challenges at the mo thanks, but rubbish with the whole diet and logging food thing! Ahh motivation where are you...? How're things starting out for you? You know if you find the sugar too restrictive (like most people here do) you can alter your settings to be more realistic in the "settings" tab at the top right of the page. :)

Hey Kakari, yeah staying in the green on the food logging is harder than I thought! I have far less calories and fat everyday, but the carbs I just blow right out the water every damn time! My sugar's not brilliant either =S Well done for keeping up your challenges, that should help you along even though you're struggling with your food stats. I'm going to try checking the packets before I start munching, rather than realizing too late that I probably shouldn't have eaten that lol =]

@Kakari SlimKicker is now back up, after being down for the past day. Our web host (Amazon) was having problems, but it's all fixed now. Because of the downtime, for the next 2 days, we're giving away +20 bonus points for every food you log. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
