    Just found out that my resting heart rate has dropped by about 20 since the beginning of December. I'm so excited for the big (good) change!

    Oh yeah! Level 5!!!! Was going to reward myself with a pedicure, but my hubby is going to give me a foot rub instead!!! Time with my husband + foot rub = happy girl!!!!

    I worked extra hours this week so I could have today off to exercise, really research healthy foods and take my time shopping for those healthy foods. This should be a good day!

    Just finished a 5K distance in under 53 minutes! I know it doesn't sound like much, but I'm happy to have it down under an hour! 10 days until race day!

    Only have 5 more runs that I can get in before the 5K........I am actually a third of a relay team doing a triathlon. My biggest fear is that I will disappoint my sister and best friend.........MUST WORK HARD!!!!!!!!

    Going to see the Avenger's at midnight, which could be bad for two reasons. #1-have to eat something fast before attempting to take a nap and #2-movie theatre popcorn.........

      If you can, write it down.. keep it in your phone or a piece of paper, so when you come back, you can log it :) plus writing it down helps!

      You'll be great! :D It took me less than 2 weeks to train for a 5k. In the end, I finished it in 39mins. Which gave me a passing grade. The guy who won the race did it around 32mins. You, being more determined than I was and having more time, will most probably be able to do it in 30! :D *cheering for you*

      Can you get some smart pop and smuggle it in...smart pop only had 100 calories...kind of high in carbs, but no suger and a better choice in the movie theater.

      I feel bad doing that. It wouldn't be so bad, except my husband and friends will get their popcorn and then keep sticking it my face asking if I want any. Plus, I haven't had a soda in two weeks now and I usually get Coke Zero when I go to a movie. Should be a good test of willpower!

      Some theatre popcorn isn't bad. Popcorn alone is a healthy snack. Just see what oil they pop it in.

      I never cared for popcorn, I must say. But my vote would be on "smuggling" something in, as well. I usually just take a bottle of water with me (long live the girlfriend's purse!), that might not be the most satisfying though. I noticed that sucking on cough drops during a movie keeps me from chowing down on whatever my friends offer me, and I don't feel like I'm depriving myself.

      Twizzlers is always a better snack than most really sugery candies...and it takes you awhile to chew.

      Almonds in the purse or raisinettes at the counter, even! Or kiddie-size popcorn. Don't deprive yourself, but portion it out right.

      I'm seeing it too. I smuggled in my Atkins bar and ate first at home. Allowing myself the diet coke which is a big treat since I've switched to clear soda on my goal towards quitting soda altogether. I admit I want to beat up kids and take that popcorn which I don't even like usually. Smells so good! Willpower!!
