I have been binging and started putting on weight. It's like being a recovering alcoholic. I will always put on weight if I don't count the calories.

I have just this very night gone on a little binge. I have eaten twice my calorie load at one, sitting! But I need to get back on track. I find the constant discipline quite difficult.

I agree that this is a life time need. I have found that slimkicker is great for keeping me on track. Find the type of foods that work for you (e.g. paleo, 4 hour body, low fat), and it is easier (not easy, just easier) to stay on track. Good luck!

I did it over time and every 5 kilos I would plateau, which is dispiriting. But I counted every calorie and it changed the way I thought about food.

I totally understand that. I had pancakes with syrup the other night for a little cheat and I felt sick afterwards..my guess is too much sugar!

      GrizzledAtoms3482 days ago

I was just talking to a workout friend last night about that. Now that I'm eating healthier and working out, I crave veggies and fruit... it's a beautiful thing! (Although, somehow some chocolate pretzels snuck in the other day!)

Dont try to finde the discipline finde that goal you realy want. For me exampel i want to weigth 95kg to 4 Juli. And my first goal is under 100 before 18 juni becuse will skydive then and you have to weigth under 100.. And then i use the challange to get shourter goal. In this way i have just change my lifestyle and dont need the dicsipline.

Done and over with, now move on. Do not repeat. 1 day can be fixed 3 days is a habit. Kick some but today.

    • img

      Sarah3487 days ago

I do too. Occasionally I give myself a discipline-free, guilt-free day. Usually when it's over I'm ready to be back on. Good luck! Hope you have a great day today!

Just take it one day at a time...this is coming from a former binge eater....it's all you can do...but don't dwell or beat yourself up over the past!!

    • img

      Julyetta3487 days ago

i am a HORRIBLE binge eater, especially at night. What I do, if I can, is every time I eat something, I log it. then i see my calories going into the red and it makes me want to stop. dont get down about 1 bad day. we are ALL going to have them. it wouldnt be life if we didnt. good luck :)

It's ridiculously difficult adjusting to it too. All the things my partner and I shop for under the assumption "it's healthy", or things we didn't even take into consideration like Juice, all contain so much rubbish it's crazy.

For my us friends that is 22+ pounds. Great job. I forget what these converts are till you look them up. 10 kilos is a big deal when I learn what a kilo is. Look we can get fit and global all at the same time. Oh and smart in math.
