    During nap time for the kids, I did a workout DVD instead of reading or catching up on DVRs.

    I made my own chicken in the crockpot, used it for stock and then made my own soup. Sooooo much better than the canned stuff!

      Just cut down on the pasta, potatos and bread. I think the bread is the biggest problem for people! If you eat soft bread to breakfast try to eat crispbread insted! Also good if you have hard time to get the fibers in :)

      The amount of carbs it suggested for me was much lower than any other nutrition info suggested. Not quite as low as "low carb" diets but still lower than most. I adjusted it to fit my own goals and nutritional needs.

      Yeah, I looked up info on suggested caloric intake for runners, and most everything said I needed way more carbs.
