    Man loosing few pounds take tons of commitment and you blow up few days and you right gain back those success. So the morale of the story - "Success is not a destination; it's a ongoing journey and commitment".

    Great day today. Nice 45 min walk and most of the lines in green except carb but even that is lot better than what I am used to. Now getting ready for big 10 days travel overseas. Hopefully I survive the temptation.

    Good morning everyone. International travelling coming up next week and that's when I mess up my diet big time. Can't track on the GO and shove all I can eat breakfast. End of the day, eat mindlessly. So need to stay on course. If I can survive this trip than I can say I figured out to outsmart my "eating insticts".

    Whoa! nice day. First time ever My carbs is not RED. Don't think I have ever done that low on carb. Normally that's how much carb I will go thru in a meal. Not hungry and very satisfied. One meal at a time, one day at a time.

    I didn't weigh in today will wait for tomorrow. You have couple of bad days and your body from inside starts feeling bloated. Goal for today keep all in GREEN and 1 hour of Racquetball :).

    I hit red on carb everyday. There is no way around that for me. But it is sitll good. I am consuming almost half carbs than what i used to so that's a good progress. Plus lost another lb and I hope my scale actually registers it for next few days and doesn't change it's mind back :).

Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become your character. And watch your character, for it becomes your destiny. What we think, we become. Hmmmm I guess that applies to every aspect of our life.

    Love this slow process of shaping up, toning up and taste bud change. Weight drop is not real quick for me but I am ok with 45 miles per hour speed as long as I get there this time. Happy to see 209.3 after being stuck on 210.5 for a while. But i knew i m shaping up from inside out. And my apetitie is getting lower and craving for food I will eat all day long is almost getting away :).

    After 10 days of behaving very well yesterday just surrendered to the food and really went into it mindlessly. That moment of time it was awesome thing to do. But looking back hmmm not really. Alright I am back in this morning and continue onto the "healthly eating, healthy living".

    Carb intake 253 and target is 128. 253 is still way under 400 which I used to consume. Not sure if I can really get it done to 128. Calories, sugar and rest are fine.

    Yesterday travel went great. Didn't had to sink in on comfort foods - fries, chocolate, chips, pizza which are my downfall when i travel. I assume I deserve those stuff bez i m working hard and travelling. Thanks to nuts, carrots, apples which i sneaked in my bag & came real handy to keep me full :. One small victory at a time.

    Early start traveling for a day to Chicago and back. Good so far. Packed some carrots, apples, almonds. Just in case if I get hungry I need to hv healthy stuff.

    Heading for Sunday late get together. There will tons of things out there which I like to eat and will also have lots of unhealthy options. I need to be strong and wise in selecting what I am going to eat. Love this - "your body is like a temple, worship it."

    Excellent workout and diet day. I should save my screen shot of nutrition stats page. First time in long time all in line and green except carb to 200 gram way down from over 330 grams all the time. I am stuffed wtih all the healthy fat and protein. Plus my taste buds is getting used to healthy stuff and they taste great.

      No, it's not easy and sometimes it's discouraging. But you can do this!! And if your weight gain was from when you travelled, it may be just too much salt that is the problem. Travel food is incredibly salty. Hang in there!!!

      If I'm eating out and I know I'm getting more than I want, I ask for a second plate and put the 'extra' food there before I even start eating. It helps to have that physical boundary!

      When you have eaten good foods for so long and then break over and eat unhealthy makes your body feel terrible. I learned that last night :) uggggg !

      Thank you and will work on the water. Funny thing is when you steer away from diet discipline and you end up ramping your apetitive in couple of days; your body starts craving for more food. I am feeling more hungry today despite the same portion size of breakfast last week.

    @Nirajpetron Thanks for your kinds words and that tip on meditation. I do use some form of meditation to relax, but its work in progress and it doesn't always help. Never tried Chakra meditation before, but I will try that! Thanks!

      Glad that you're back!! Sometimes it takes a while to convince ourselves that food isn't the controlling factor in our lives. Not sure if I am totally there yet, but working on it!

      It's so darn easy to stumble into the mindless eating trap! I think knowing what my personal triggers are ( low blood sugar, boredom and emotional lows) and thinking about what I really need at that moment instead of eating really helps. Of course it still happens and getting right back on track is all we can do!!!

      There's a silver lining...you can use it that slip to figure out why you surrendered, then next time you're in the situation, it won't happen again. Everyone makes mistakes. It's part of how we learn and get better :)

      When I was doing my initial weight loss, I'd reward myself with dessert once a week if I stuck with my diet. But I found that when the time came to have my reward, I just didn't feel like ruining the previous few day's work with a few moments of pointless calories. This ability to reject food that I 'deserved' helped me to learn to set aside or step away from food that wasn't on my plan and that I didn't 'deserve'. Good luck the next time you get into that situation!

      Change soft bread to hard bread.. Take less potatoes, pasta and rice and more meat. This will make a huge differences..

      I have recently started overhauling my pantry and snack drawer at work - trying to fill it with nuts, carrots, and apples!! I recently started a new job working at a desk all day (FARRRR from what I used to do at a daycare and running summer camps!) and I found that I tried to snack a lot.
