    Started plotting out new hiking trails to start training for the Warrior Dash this fall. Lots of hills and places to stop, drop, and knock out burpees.

    Level 2 Tech Priest (heh). Dropped 3 lbs since my high point. Being more aware of my eating and exercising habits works wonders now that I can see a more tangible outcome with the scoring.

    Seeing the nutritional information when I log my food definitely helps put into perspective how it all adds up. The cheeseburger and fries for lunch doesn't really sound appealing any more.

    Walked 5k with a 40lb weight vest and 5lb ankle weights on. Now I have to figure that up in the exercise log.

      I like it. Establishing the dispenser of over-processed foods as your enemy has flair. It makes buying a snack in the future akin to grovelling at your foe's feet. I have to try this -- maybe to the ice-cream display at my grocery store.

      Looks like there are a couple user created burpee challenges to see how many you can do in one minute. That one is pretty tempting.

      Wow. Kudos to you sir. I would probably do some sort of combination of walking/hiking AND weight training. But I don't know...

      Never hurts to try but the worst thing you can do is rush it. I actually started doing this a few years ago with the ankle weights. I would wear 5 lb's to work where I had to walk from office to office a bit. Didn't seem like much until the end of the day when I knew precisely when I took them off when my legs felt lighter.

      @tercerero - I did the one in VA last October. Definitely the most physically demanding thing I've ever done. What made it worse was it was at a ski resort so if you were not going through an obstacle, you were either going up or down a ski slope. It was worth it though.
